January 23, 201313 yr i've always been pro-europe you know what I'm coming round to thinking we may be better off out of it have a similar role in Europe that norway and switzerland have. out of EU but in EFTA (I think)
January 23, 201313 yr Europe should have stayed as a trading bloc and not some commies fantasy idea of a federal EU. As soon as the Euro came into existence that was the only long term path viable for the countries that adopted it, the recession has simply speeded up the process... a lot.

January 23, 201313 yr i vote to stay in cos i love the ryder cup And the Song Competition. Don't forget that. You've got to be in it to win it.
January 23, 201313 yr What about the Euromillions? Don't our banks et al want all the roll over money?
January 23, 201313 yr i vote to stay in cos i love the ryder cup we can stay in that, as part ofany renegotiation We want Ryder Cup eurovision euromillions They can have anti-democracy, deluded fantasy, Scotland We want our country back
January 23, 201313 yr I'd say there's not many know the even the first thing regarding implications of being in or out of Europe, to put it to a Referendum would be ridiculous... I wouldn't have a clue - I'd vote for whoever had the best hats. They could tag a 'bring back hanging?' referendum onto the Europe one though. What about the booze prices, would we automatically have Norway style pricing? I noticed some 2.3% Becks in the Supermarket the other day - a worrying development. What's that 2.2% piss they sell in Sweden called? 'Oce'? 'Oso'? Horrible!

January 23, 201313 yr Out! And this argument put about by the pro lobby that Europeans would stop buying British products is just plain stupid! They buy the goods because of the price, quality and overall value and service. They would continue to do so as they continue to buy many other non eu goods.
January 23, 201313 yr When this minimum price per unit law is passed, you'll see loads of sub-strength beer on the market. Hopefully it won't pass, how can the Tories espouse the benefits of a free-market in almost everything, oh, apart from booze, because some piss-up craving Chavs can get their hands on cheap 'cider' or lager. I'd like to think the British won't take it, but how many people crumble and buy the weak as piss stuff when in Scandinavia? If I was the supermarket I'd just bundle booze with food, get around it that way...

Please can we leave lobby out of one thread, please Bet the frogs have garlic in it, BTW
January 23, 201313 yr When we went in, I could find no fooker who voted for it. Always suspected foul play with the count.

January 23, 201313 yr Why wait until 2015, do it now or not at all .... not that it matters to me I got the fuck out years ago
January 23, 201313 yr Time to go. Anything the French are in favour of only spells disaster for Blighty.
January 23, 201313 yr we can stay in that, as part ofany renegotiation We want Ryder Cup eurovision euromillions They can have anti-democracy, deluded fantasy, Scotland We want our country back Don't forget the Mosconi Cup as well. And on the strength that we would be saving £45M per day, I am oot.
January 23, 201313 yr Would we all get a £1 a day tax rebate then, each? I'm out then, that's swung it for me. What if the French paid it in onions though? I'm not sure I could use £1 worth of onions a day. I'm in. Edited January 23, 201313 yr by Youri McAnespie
