Favourite Skd Memory

Right,

The big lad is leaving us, agree with it or not. Debate can be put elsewhere, but lets have a thread of all the good he's done

So, in the words of Sammy Lee, let's see the positives........

One of my favourite moments wasn't a goal, but proof he was a "real man"........he just seemed to shrug his shoulder at this whereas many other top flight pansies would've been weeping:

Making Evra's life a nightmare when he bullied him, and if the story is true when asked by Evra's why he was doing it SKD told him that he didn't like him.

A great servant to the club who is leaving at the right time.

For those sliding tackles by the touchline in the first five minutes of every game. 50% resulted in bookings. But the opposition knew they had their hands full and I imagine a number of the namby-pamby millionaire wannabee full-backs at the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, West Ham, etc were mindful of Kev after that and stayed well clear.

The game against Charlton where he had his face broken by an elbow and stayed stood up as if it was nowt and carried on playing.

Proper man.

What a brilliant feeling that was

Walkden has summed it up for me. The fact I had a dmb even yesterday call me to say how much he hates him. Great memories.

years of arguing with munich mates who hate his guts. hes given the most fouls away all season, yes but hes the most fouled!

Aye, you know he's been a gooden as he got under their skin big time.

The one against Man united at the Reebok when he poked it past Ferdinand and scored. But my favourite memories will be bullying Upson every time we played West Ham.

Used that one on many occasions :)

I thought he was finished last year but he came on at Villa & changed the game. Showed a creaking Emile Heskey how the traditional centre forward role should be played.

Got to be his goal against Blackburn in the 1st minute this year or Bayern for me - oh and also his last minute goal at home to Spurs a few years ago when we were battling against the drop. Bullying Evra & Upson was always fun too

"If I'm watching on television I shout at the screen. Someone his size, his strength, I just don't understand it. Since I've been at Bolton I've had three fractures, and I played on with all of them. I fractured my cheekbone when Hermann Hreidarsson elbowed me against Charlton about three years ago, and he got sent off, but I didn't go down. Then in the second half I jumped with one of their players and brushed him with my forearm, and he went down screaming. So I got sent off. That was a little bit disappointing."

Lat minute goal at Wolves that kept us up and basically sent them down.

That was brilliant, right in front of us - oh so moody coming out afterwards !!

These 2, i'm sure i creamed myself on both occassions

when I met him after the Spurs 4-2 where he was MOTM - was in the platinum suite with Smiffs and HW, got to say hello and have pictures - was pissed and just as picture was taken told him I got a hard on when he came on for England - he didn't know where to look, def looked a tad uncomfortable in the picture

that and the goal v Bayern

His goal at wolves to put us 3-1 up last year stands out for some reason - it went mental in our end. I seem to remember a thread on here describing the moment which summed it up perfectly.

Munich, wolves and Birmingham goals. Bullying the big 5 defences and seeing wenger or Ferguson crying about it. In truth to many memories, he epitomised our time at the top i couldn't have been prouder then when he played for England

Loads but the Evra incident stands out.
