maaarsh Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Chance for Quigg to become a world champion, but I don't like his chances Quote
Biggish Dave Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Quigg has more ring craft for me and takes it on points - comfortably. That is as long as he starts brightly which he's been guilty of not doing on a few occasions. Quote
deane koontz Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 I hear Yusaf Mack has been battered about the ring a bit of late. Cummings put a stop to his fighting career. Quote
maaarsh Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 Quigg already is a World Champion. Normally the organisation issuing the belt thinks you're the best at your weight for you to be a world champion. Rigondeaux is the WBA champion. Quigg has a fake title so the WBA can take a sanctioning fee. Quote
Northender Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 Eddie Hearn said in an interview this week that rigo had been stripped and quigg had been promoted to super champ. Might be bollocks but matters not, good 50/50 fight in Feb. Quote
maaarsh Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Eddie Hearn said in an interview this week that rigo had been stripped and quigg had been promoted to super champ. Might be bollocks but matters not, good 50/50 fight in Feb. You mean in the week Eddie promised them a big money fight, they fiddled their rankings (but haven't updated it on their website http://www.wbanews.com/wba-ranking ) to big it up? Good old boxing. whiteboy Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Who gives a fuck about the silly belts, the fight is on...and i'm not going to be in the country. Reckon Smith will get a mid-late stoppage tonight, could be a cracker though. Quote
Biggish Dave Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Quigg v Frampton is one of the biggest fights in recent history in the UK and a genuine 50/50 pick em. Most casual fans would think Froch v Groves was bigger but that's a nonsense. Can't wait for it - booking finger at the ready as soon as it goes on sale. Straight after Burnley at home too Quote
Northender Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Unbelievable performance from Smith! Quote
glennboltw Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 I think groves will be for him next and that will push Groves to retirement after smith batters him! Quote
whiteboy Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Groves won't go anywhere near Smith unless it's for a world title. Great performance there, handled the occasion better. The Cardle fight was a very good watch if an awful performance from him. Quote
Cheese Posted November 9, 2015 Posted November 9, 2015 Froch talking about coming out of retirement to fight DeGale. Surely not? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/boxing/34761695 Quote
DaveTheRave Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 Anybody watch the boxing on Spike last night? Young Fury and Hughie Fury were fighting in Bristol. One of their lot had a Bolton T-shirt on. Quote

Watched the channel 5 coverage of Blackwell v Arnfield. Decent fight. Every credit to Arnfield for stepping up with a weeks' notice. Quote
