And that was too much for that shite last night.

No knock outs so card gets slated. Enjoyed last 3 fights, could of done without Buglioni stinking the place out though.

Fury boxed great, Vitali didn't give Chisora a beating that bad.

Manny Pacquiao's film is available in the usual locations.

Just watched Fury/Chisora fight on BTS. My opinion on Fury has not changed. He is a big lump with a jab. But he did a good job on jabbing the shit out of a Chisora who was too short and too shit. Fury thinks he's better than he is. He will need more than a long arm to beat Klischko. But If he can jab Klitschko and win then fair do's.

 

Saunders/Eubank Jnr fight was a good watch. Eubank suprised me. He could go on and do something.

As a crap boxing fan who only watches "big" fights, I don't really understand the "mandatory challenge" rules. It seems to me that a title holder fights who the fuck he wants. I'd love to see Fury v Klitschko but I just can't see it happening.

The governing bodies are an utter farce mate, just completely ignore all of that horseshit. I'm not even exaggerating. It's all shite.

 

Somebody like Wlad Klitschko can effectively pick and choose who he fights and when.

Agreed I thought Saunders Eubank was a cracking fight, Eubank is so obviously raw though. Fair play for not worrying about losing his 0. He'd beat Saunders in  rematch I think.

 

Fury was good too, but it's hard to tell how much of it was Chisora being shit. Bit of both I think.

 

Can't agree with you on the matchroom stuff, or at least I can't get on board with following (or hating) a promoter. Fuck it, who cares. It's the fights that matter, nothing else. £12 a month for boxnation is good value though.

The weigh in alone was worth the journey, gives me goosebumps whenever I see it on YouTube. Paid $750 for my ticket which I felt was top dollar at the time but it's given me a memory I will take to the grave - the best sporting atmosphere I've been in certainly considering the distance.

I missed the Canelo Mayweather fight by 2 days last year. Got a few decent snaps besides the ring in the MGM lobby though

Won't stop up for it, got kids so never do.

 

Any fight with a top ten guy is tough for khan. Malignaggi, collazo, Judah, those guys were all well past it in truth.

 

Alexander will be a tough test for him, a younger, athletic guy.

 

I'll be surprised if he comes through, he's just not tough enough at the top level IMO. When his freshness and speed wears off he struggles.

He's a game, brave lad and he has dedicated himself to the sport, admirable given how tough it is and how he could just toss it off and live very comfortably if he chose, and could've done so a long time ago.

 

Like hagler said (ish) it gets hard to get up in the middle of the night and go running, when you are sleeping in silk sheets.

 

As I said above, he's not durable enough and just not quite good enough at the elite level but very very few British fighters are. Only Lewis in my lifetime i reckon, and it's debatable whether he was British, in fairness. His fight education was not in Britain.

 

Khan is a genuine world class fighter, Bolton born and bred.

 

Hope he pulls it off tonight and would love him to get a mega fight with Floyd or pacquiao.
