August 15, 201313 yr Horse Chestnut tree for me, had one in my dads garden when it was just a little twig in the 50s, grew like mad though and started knocking conker's out, started blocking out the sunlight and had it cut down, I don't think you can get away with that now.

August 16, 201313 yr I had a magnificent monkey puzzle tree im my previous house. Got to be my favourite. Favourite at my present property are the damsons but only because I make wine with the fruit.

August 16, 201313 yr In fact I've thought of a sensible answer. As you drive up Beaumont Rd and reach the top where it meets Chorley New there is a field opposite with a steep hill and a solitary oak tree. I flipping love that tree. Might even have my ashes scattered there!
