1-1 as the grumpy cunts that reside at the Reebok decide moaning and heckling is better than supporting the team.

Will be the smallest away following this season, they won't bring more than 300.   We'll win 3-1.

The Millwall offside trap was piss poor, Beckford caught them napping 3 Times in the first half which the 2nd goal came about from. It was a slow paced match in the main but we had that bit more quality. I'm glad we don't have Shittu at the back, his best years are well gone.

Now this proper pissed me off that

They're brighter than the fucking floodlights!

I wonder if it pisses players off or whether they are too involved to notice.

Late on in the game when theyre being tight arses with the leccy and only turning half the floodlights on, its pitch black behind the goals! There was an adidas advert as well that flashed up in about a million colours, it was like being in Ikon

Satan top post. Born to be wanderer. Thought Id spare everyone from a roll call. But I love this team and town. Long live the super whites.

All to do with the Championship Floodlight regulations, the lux values (light measurements) set for the Championship are less than lux values the Premiership set. Suppose this has enabled the club to reduce the amount of lights they turn on, on each of the floodlights. That in turn will save money.

Well that's what I reckon anyway!

I agree its on but the next 2 games are massive we need 4 points from them and then back to back wins at home.

A proper Saturday night post! Who gives a shit about whether Knight should have come on or the brightness of the advertising boards or the volume of the music! We've won and we're on a roll!

How can you say that? I don't think we've look more settled for a long time, unspectacular but I really think its a great opportunity and one I'm sure we will achieve.

I know what you are saying but that poor side were above us before the game today. And as Dougie has said we will do what we have to do to get the result.

Yep fair enough, they were. To be honest I thought they'd be better than they were, considering how they did against Burnley last week

Freedman out

Boooooooooo

Glad we won, all the time showing signs of getting back to a reasonable team. Millwall looked poor but fuck em, it's all about 3 points.

More of the same at Watford please. Born to be a Wanderer, victorious are we

A bloke on way off was slagging DF off for negativity, in his words "why bring knight on at 2 1, we should have been trying to score"

I did wonder if he realised we had scored after knight came on, presumably despite the fact were not even trying to score.

Going 5-4-1 at home in order to hang on to a 2-1 lead against an average (I'm being generous) Millwall is negative. It wasn't fookin Chelsea !

It worked. We got the win. I'm hoping this desperate pack-back-into-our-area approach is a temporary get-the-monkey-off-our-backs tactic. We now have a home win, we're away from the bottom 3, let's be more positive. We have the attcking players to terrorise most of this division.

It's not negative, it's professional. We need the points more than we need the goal difference (at least at this point in the season).

If we'd have pushed more and conceded people would be livid that he didn't go more defensive. Honestly, the man can't win with some people.

3-1

It's what DF wants. Encouraged the opposition to attack and we sucker punch on the counter. Works for me. Onwards to Watford.

Ps Mills is showing some form at the mo, proper centre half.

Him and ream have developed a decent understanding, Mills challenges for the long ball and Ream will be ready to pick up the 2nd ball.

Yip, almost like a proper defence now.

Maybe more to do with being find twice last season by the whale chasing end of the world eco mob for carbon emissions due to the lights being to bright

It's not as simple as that though

Even though yesterday it came of for us, it's conceivable that by going to 5 at the back we are "more" likely to concede, as in doing so we concede ground and possession.

I certainly believe that to be the case with the way it was yesterday even though we got the 3rd

It also uses up a valuable substitution, which nearly backfired as we were essentially down to 10 men for the last few minutes with McNaughton unable to run

So, for the right reasons maybe, but it doesn't mean we have to agree with it
