This is where I disagree his knowledge of players at this level is excellent and we are due to lose a good few high earners who are not contributing, if we can replace with cheaper options who will contribute I don't see why we can't do a Burnley, I'm just worried DF won't or can't motivate.

See I don't get that seasoned pros need to be motivated, if I was in a job that paid me thousands weekly, that would be motivation enough, in the back of these fuckers minds must be that the gravy train might come to a full stop pretty quick going off their performances for us recently, I don't see motivation as the problem, what I do see is Dougie trying to dine on Arsene Wengers table, the reality is he is trying to be too clever, when all he needs to do is let them play simple, attack when needed, defend when needed, it really is a simple game is football.

Give over. People are questioning the spineless first-half. Showing character when 0-2 down is all well & good, but the points stayed in Wigan. And we've been seeing this happen time & again this season, which is why we're 16th in the Championship. All the 'ifs' in the world won't change that.

On footballing matters, after Doncaster, I was very disappointed today.

 

If we'd started the first half like we did the second, it'd be game over at half time. I know we were away today, but with the following & local derby etc, I'd have hoped we'd of got at them from the off. Even at 2 down I knew we'd get back in it, so I'm frustrated we ended up chasing it rather than dictating it.

 

Really want to see that penalty decision again, someone do the honours please.

Then we get it back to 2-2 and for some reason we go into our shell again after looking like we'd steam roller them is that a mental thing? Whatever it is this group of players are frustrating the life out of me.

Me too, so fucking annoying to watch. Once we started passing the ball to each other rather than them bastards we looked like we could batter them. Somehow we always manage to shoot ourselves in the foot.

 

I do think we were a bit unlucky with some terrible decisions going against us yesterday but still even on top of that we should of taken at least a point.

 

We wont go anywhere until we get a decent goalscorer though imo. Too many chances not being put away and Beckford is proving himself do be a complete donkey. He had a good chance towards the end and kicked the floor the useless twat. Mason looks ok so far but not sure if he has a good eye for goal so to speak. Will give him more time though as at least he moves to the ball and gives people chance to pass to him, Beckford stands and waits the fucking stump.

 

At times we look really good but we are very quick to undo any good work with some absolute shit at times. I feel Dougie is slowly improving us but I do fear until he can get rid of some big earners and get more of his own in he wont get us challenging. He could also be sacked before then.
