Great turn out, big let down again, not for the first time at Wigan. First 20 minutes was a shambles, either DF couldn't get through the simple message that their new boss would have them fired up and we'd need to match them for 20 or they didn't take a blind bit of notice.

 

How is it also that the tactical genius DF reckons he is can go the whole loan window without replacing Tierney with a genuine left back? I felt sorry for Baptiste, not for the first time. 

 

Yes, second half was better (couldn't be worse) and we maybe ended up a bit unlucky to lose, but overall another backward step.

Agree with most of that but surely baptiste has to do better than that he was shocking. There has to be question marks on DF ability to motivate these player the first 20 minutes in reality the game was over.
