Sad state of affairs when I've already ruled out going to this. There was a time, not very long ago, when it would never have entered my head not to be there on Boxing Day, home or away. Just not feeling it right now...and the more shite like yesterday gets served up, the less I can see the old enthusiasm returning.

I actually thought Chungy was far better than in recent weeks and got down the line a couple of times which relieved the pressure a bit. The sub that really invited the pressure IMHO was when Medo came on which left Mason in a different postcode to any supporting players.

That approach to stewarding wasn't in evidence at that Cup game in 88. Tho it was more South Yorkshire Police who still thought they were on a miners' picket line if I remember correctly.

Considering how keen on the coppers were before the game with the dogs and helicopter(!), I was very surprised that the stewards didn't once come up the stairs or owt, even when it was obvious loads of lads had taken ale to their seats plus the usual umpteen smoke bombs. Made a nice change though, BWFC take note.
