Sad state of affairs when I've already ruled out going to this. There was a time, not very long ago, when it would never have entered my head not to be there on Boxing Day, home or away. Just not feeling it right now...and the more shite like yesterday gets served up, the less I can see the old enthusiasm returning.

I could not go today but listened on Internet and although you don't always get a true picture I'd say we won despite DF not because of him. I'd like to hear what the view of those who went to the game though.

We could have had a couple during that spell in the second half when the place was bouncing. Thought we sat back a little too much late on until we figured it would be far more effective to get in their half and keep possession instead of lumping it back to them, but we did the job, got the win and a clean sheet. A classic Dougie away day.

Craig Davies would offer more than Mason in that sort of role. He perked up a bit second half when he got in behind them a couple of times and then came up with fuck all end product, but he really does lack any sort of presence to play as a lone striker.
