Seems a bit desperate but at least they are doing the right thing to claw back the fans who haven't renewed season tickets.

We started well today. Positive from the outset. You can't legislate for their two goals though. Booing was embarrassing, although sadly not surprising. Was proud of the crowd for getting behind Knight after his calamity strewn first 20 mins.

 

Was good to see Davies getting more into the game 2nd half. Thought Chungy did ok. Don't see what Mason offers that Ngog or Beckford don't (at least not when he's playing on his own).

Knight takes the blame for the first one but I'd say Lonergan was more at fault for the 2nd. He had no need to be that far off his line. If he stays on his line there's no problem.

I can't for the life of me explain how many cock ups ZK has done in his Bolton career other than it is a major surprise to me why he's not been questioned recently.

I noticed by the end of the half there were many people clapping Knight and trying to get behind the team, in response to those booing the players. Surprised I didn't see any in-fighting like I saw under Megson, they were truly ugly times.

Knight should have cleared the 2nd but lonergan was never getting that ball and should have stayed put.

Mavies' ball to baptiste and baptistes goal were both fantastic.

Mason is useless on his own up top.

Eagles was awful and not sure how he finished the game.

Beckford is still dogshit no how many goals he's scored.

Sorry but I'd have ngog as the sole striker. He's the only one who actually keep hold of the ball up there.

 

Mavies and pratley were the wrong way round surely, but I guess mavies is deeper to go a fetch the ball but if we keep pumping in go diagonally, what's the point?

I though at the time that lonergan was at least as culpable. Knight is still playing the way he's facing so has to take fair share of the blame, but I do think lonergan hesitated an should have either cleaned everything out (through 2 players and on his weaker foot), or dropped off for a back pass.

 

I think he saw Knight struggling after the first and was trying to so him a favour, but it was the opposite really.

Nothing learnt today knights still got ridiculous mistakes in him that cost us dearly seen it before we'll see them again but I would say that block at the end saved their winner but as Jeremy clarkson once said I think today was confirmation that the human race has successfully mated with vegetables - some of the silliest embarrassing bollocks I've ever seen in the front rows of ESL from usual dick heads how some veggopeople seem to love wallowing in misery and negativity is truly beyond me

I thought same as Arrested at first - 50/50 between ZK & AL.

 

But thinking about it after, I agree with you. The ball was way too far out for AL even if he'd been patrolling the edge of his area. ZK dithered and dithered, forcing AL to dash out to try to clear the ball ........ exactly at the moment ZK decided to pass back after all. 90% ZK, 10% AL.   Indecision is final, as they say on MotD.
