January 1, 201412 yr To be fair to Dougie he got the right players in on loan, and in turn stopped the rot, said players loans time expired, and again we see capitulations, it can be no coincidence that since the loan players went back we have returned to being dogshit, so no matter what system or tactics he deploys the fact remains you cannot polish a turd, he has at his disposal half a team who could'nt give a shiny shit, I would hazard a guess that 4 or 5 of the starters today will not be with us next season, give Dougie a break for fuck sake, and as has been pointed out previously, individual mistakes have cost us a lot of points this season, how the fuck can you blame Dougie for that? and please don't bang on about playing the kids, with the amount of dogs abuse the seasoned pros get, how would you imagine an 18/ 19 year old respond with such abuse.

January 2, 201412 yr Three games over Xmas an away win, a loss to the league leaders and a home draw after two cock ups left us two down. On paper not too bad, it just feels like we are muddling through with no plan or direction. Ever since Coyle dropped Muamba for the Wigan away game I have not felt our manager has known our best eleven.

January 2, 201412 yr Did I imagine Wheater getting a new contract at the start of the season? Dougies big mistake was splitting up our most solid centre half pair. They are at the heart of the defence, its more vital than the full back positions. He sould have put mears or white in whoever he fancies most. Hes lost a full back so he makes even weaker by splitting them up. They are both quick and I think they would have delt with dyer better at Leicester. Knight always makes big mistakes in every game. He always has done its nowt new! He shouldn't by anywhere near our first team. Some one here are saying his tactics didnt cost us? His team selection clearly did. I'm beginning the think the guy is incompetent and totally out of his depth.

I still don't think he's a bad player, but could maybe do with a different challenge at a new club. Still wouldn't boo him mind.

He miscontrols it (these things happen) and loses the ball, but leaves Carayol offside. 2nd goal, Knight makes exactly the same gesture to Lonergan, who just keeps coming. Knight is involved in both goals, but i don't think he's 100% culpable in either.

Zat Knight is running back with the siuation under control He sees Lonegan has come out and shouts and point to get back as he is going to play the ball back to his right side This makes me think Lonegan is right footed as you'd expect our centre halves to know which side the keeper wants a pass back on. Lonegan points to th sidelines to suggest Knight just gets rid Knight then over hits the fucking ball right at Lonegan but closer to his left side. it really is fucking shocking
