Question; why haven't we played like that more than a couple of times?

I don't know and to be honest I don't think it matters

The fact is Douglas seems to have finally found the right way to play, certainly at home.

Good run now in league and cup and who knows?

Forest are a fucking disgrace, I'd be embarrassed if that was us today

totally agree. They were fuckin embarrassing playing every trick in the book. Once we pressed them they they were all over the place.

Forest happy with a point baffled me,

Away from home at a club with a bigger wage bill and better players than they've got?

I don't think Forest have the strength in depth to have talented 2nd Division players like Pratley, Moritz and Eagles on the bench

I also enjoyed it today

First time in a long while I have without being on the booze too

Bit more of that please!!

They showed some fight & character today and that's all you can ask. Was it the lad Moritz who chased that lost cause into the corner then fought the player for the ball before putting it down for the goal kick? Whoever it was, they will do for me.

I think a draw was a fair result. Forrest are a decent side and were very pragmatic, especially running the click down when ahead.

Lonergan MOTM for me though, 2 word class saves

Yes, it was Moritz. Really thought we were going to get the winner at the death. Bizarre tactics by Forest. Almost as bizarre as the Orange Warriors steaming in mob handed to chuck out 4 lads for having the temerity to sing at half time in concours at HT NSU. WTF?

after about 40 minutes a pack of stewards walked northwards

i dunno what happened but if they were the ones who removed the 4 lads it wasn't just for something that happened at half time

Well and truly got the buzz back today.

Positive on the pitch which led to positivity in the stands.

We looked like fookin world beaters after we scored.

Dougie reacted well with the body blow of Beckford going off and we kept the shape throughout the game

Danns covered every single blade of grass, he's a special player that one I'm telling you...could turn out to be a club legend him, exactly what we need. Total grafter and not bad on the ball either.

Thought the defence was first into every challenge and baptiste as an outlet is superb.

The fact they resorted to being utter cunts to try and get anything out of the game says it all.

Onwards and upwards whites....

Fair play to Dougie for finally seeing the light of day and playing with an upbeat positistve tempo from the off.

Good to meet Pato and Ralph before the game as well.

Oh and can I suggest a flat dicks only enclosure at the reebok? :-)

i hope davies gets injured on the last day of the season and isn't fit until its too late for somebody to take a chance on him

the lad is a class apart and allows us to playa different game

sounds like dougie is worried beckford is a long term thing - hope its not but fearful its his knee

oh aye, zat knight was excellent

Danns covered every blade apart from those on the right wing which exposed baptiste numorous times.

The amount of gamesmanship from forest was astounding. But still makes me laugh how much people get wound up by it.

I'll be surprised if we start with 2 strikers and MDavies just behind the front 2.

Seems likely a DF more defensive line-up and 1-1 (at best).

15139

Wrong about DF's team selection. Right about the score. Good match though.

Massive improvement in attitude, work ethic & team play ........... admittedly from a crap baseline. Shame about the shooting. Still a work in progress, but actual on-the-pitch progress. Not bad for my last home League game until April.

Forest very overrated. Sharper & more physical than us; also dirtier and unimpressive defensively.

PS : Forget to mention their weird timewasting and despicable gamesmanship.

whys that, you want to sit with your arms crossed under your blanket?

it wound the crowd up and the crowd got into the game

much better than 'well, at least we didn't boo'

some good, positive support today

Cracking game, best home performance of the season by a long way. As somebody said earlier, positivity on the pitch lead to positivity from the stands and back to the players, gave them that extra belief and energy last 20. All that stopped us turning them over was that bit of composure and confidence in the box, loads of good situations that could have been turned in to goals but weren't.

Certainly built on last week though and it was a good watch. Lots of good performances and people standing up to be counted from front to back. Forest (or more to the point their little turd of a manager) were a disgrace.

Dominated for long spells in the first half and really pushed on for the equaliser and then a winner. I know they had chances but if we had any sort of finisher we would have been out of sight in the first half.

Lonergan's save in the first half still has me scratching my head

How the fuck he made that I don't know

He must stay number one choice for that alone (bit of work on communicating with the back 4 will do no harm, like)

Gamesmanship?

There's a difference between being a bit naughty to gain an advantage to full on cuntishness.

They are going for promotion having just walloped a premier league yet they were ordered to act like cunts, time wasting, disgraceful challenges and petulant trips and shirt tugs? ...embarrassing.

They won't get anywhere playing like that.

Looked like he dragged it back from over the line from where we were sat.... Not sure how their player managed to out jump our 3 of our players to get to it either..

Anyhow, enjoyed that today, good end to end stuff.

We thought it had crossed the line as well from the back of NSL. Unreal save if it didn't.
