only1swanny Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 Two things I don't get though Moritz Medo and eagles dropped from a good game. No strikers on the bench. . Quote
RoadRunnerFan Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 (edited) Man for man a worse team? You really think that captainmed? We didn't even have a recognised full back on the pitch today. Edited January 11, 2014 by RoadRunnerFan Quote
Sweep Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 Why do people keep bringing up how big our wage bill is, as though that itself should be a guarantee of a top 6 place. Quote

Spider Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 If captain med's moan is the best anyone on the negative side of the fence can come up with, today was better than I thought. It's not where you're from, it's where you're at. Quote
Mounts Kipper Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 Why do people keep bringing up how big our wage bill is, as though that itself should be a guarantee of a top 6 place. Because a large wage bill usually gets you the better players. Quote
superkev Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 Why do people keep bringing up how big our wage bill is, as though that itself should be a guarantee of a top 6 place. Exactly. It's only big because we were int prem. Big wage bill means jack shit. Especially when we will probably release all our big earners that are out of contract. Quote
Casino Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 (edited) ryan, the only points i will accept are these only 2 home wins. We will not be in danger of relegation I see no point in getting rid now We must not become content being 18th in the Championship. Edited January 11, 2014 by Casino Quote
mickbrown Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 I quite enjoyed the second half - felt like it was the first time I've been involved for ages. One winge - Lonergan's goal kicks - can some fucker in midfield at least jump with their bloke. Counted at least 8 free headers and by free I mean no bloke within at least 5 yards. Led directly to their goal and to me shouting "free fucking header" too many times. Quote
blackleywhite Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 (edited) Already covered...nothing to see here... Edited January 11, 2014 by blackleywhite Quote
Casino Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 Because a large wage bill usually gets you the better players. not if fcuking coyle has lumbered you with them our wage bill was bigger than 7 or 8 clubs in the premier league - we got relegated qprs wage bill is the biggest in this league Quote
birch-chorley Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 Why do people keep bringing up how big our wage bill is, as though that itself should be a guarantee of a top 6 place. Until we play a team like Leicester or QPR who have a bigger one then it's ok to bring up the respective wage Bills? We can't have it both ways Captainmed makes some good points. Today was a good show, much needed but 26 games in and our league position is shite. Quote

He ALWAYS kicks it to the right, but Danns and others won a lot more of them than usual, flicking on into the middle. Quote
White Shirt Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 Good performance that, really enjoyed it Can't get my head round Medo getting dropped. He was the best player on the pitch last week. Spearing needs dropping, he can't pass and when he does actually find a man the pass selection is questionable as there are better options available Thought Baptiste had a top game, was a constant threat down the right especially 2nd half. Between him or Danns mom for me Quote
Juan.Kerr Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 best match up there for a good while. CYL was poor I thought but I think that they were very physical. We were well worth a draw and late on we could have pinched it.. Quote

Casino Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 it would suggest that just about every other pass goes to a bolton shirt! must admit, i'd prefer a 1 in 3 completion if that one led to a goal Quote
White Shirt Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 garps stats say thats bollocks best passer in the team... i do like medo though Really? Surprising that Don't know what Medo has done wrong recently other than being at fault for the Huddersfield goal He'll be back in next week anyway I suspect Quote
Spider Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 Need to make room for Medo Dropping cyl is the obvious choice Quote
MalcolmW Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 fortunately, your opinion counts for fcuk all Just as well - 18th is no place for complacency. How many points will the next 3 league games yield? Away to Reading, QPR and Ipswich. Quote
