blackleywhite Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 We thought it had crossed the line as well from the back of NSL. Unreal save if it didn't. That's where we sit, near the back towards the west corner. Quote
Leyther_Matt Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 That's where we sit, near the back towards the west corner. You might have had a better angle then as I'm smack bang behind the goal on the back row. Quote
superkev Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 Lee has no confidence at all  Won't go anywhere near a 50/50 challenge  He needs dropping tbf   I actually thought Lee played well today Quote
John Thomas Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 Another draw. Shame people just accept this mediocrity. Quote
Drew Peacock Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 Thought Lee was lost for the first hour - didn't seem to know what he was supposed to do. Â Don't understand why Medo didn't start after his performance last week. Â Spearing needs to be take off 'set piece' duty! Quote
Arrested development Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 I actually thought Lee played well today He was shite. Partly down to their physical approach but mostly because hes weak. Â No creativity, no willingness to Have a bash at the fullback. Â IMO not doing enough and capable of performing much better. Quote
HomerJay Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 I have no idea what people expect from lee Quote
birch-chorley Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 Wtf was LCY trying late on in stoppage time when he had it wide right? A complete waste  Shadow of his former self Quote
superkev Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 I have no idea what people expect from lee  Too much. He's not the player he was but did ok for me today. Quote
HomerJay Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 I'd love to see his ball retention stats. I bet they're better than anybody else in the team. Quote
L/H White Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 Decent player? Yes  A player to be involved in league where every games a physical battle. Probably not Quote
Garrp Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 I'd love to see his ball retention stats. I bet they're better than anybody else in the team.  From those who have played 10 or more games  1) Spearing 83.3% 2) Chungy 79.8% 3) Danns 78.7% 4) Medo 78.6 5) Ream 75.3%  Others that haven't played 10 games  Mavies 86.7% Moritz 76.2% Quote
HomerJay Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 (edited) Fuck me. Ooh That weren't a bad shout was it.  Especially considering spearing a good old water carrier  Cheers g4  You got these from work I presume? Edited January 11, 2014 by HomerJay Quote
Marc505 Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 Today was most enjoyable home game of the season so far for me. A spirit and desire from Wanderers I've not seen in ages Quote
HomerJay Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 Today was most enjoyable home game of the season so far for me. A spirit and desire from Wanderers I've not seen in ages And the guy behind me was saying there was no team spirit. Â Some people huh? Quote

N'Gog 71.9% Quote
SatanGreavsie Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 Gamesmanship? Â There's a difference between being a bit naughty to gain an advantage to full on cuntishness. Â They are going for promotion having just walloped a premier league yet they were ordered to act like cunts, time wasting, disgraceful challenges and petulant trips and shirt tugs? ...embarrassing. Â They won't get anywhere playing like that. Egg-zackarly; late into added time at the end they still pissed about in front of ESL, level with our penalty area, delaying a throw and wasting time - when in reality they were just as likely to nick a very late winner as us and by that stage any attacking effort on their part would probably have been the last act of the game anyhow.... Still, Th'East Midlands Whites are not long back and are drinking responsibly. In other words, they are responsible for everything supped. Quote
RoadRunnerFan Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 Best home performance of the season for me against a decent, though cynical side. Â Lee isn't the player he was but thought he did okay. Some old cretin behind me didn't grasp that we had a diamond in midfield not a straight 442 and kept shouting at him to get down the line. Quote
Mounts Kipper Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 Nice too see 2 up top it's a shame it's took so long, the fans responded by singing and making a reasonable atmosphere, one negative how many times have and are we going to give the opposition really really piss poor shite goals this season it's beyond a joke. Quote
gonzo Posted January 11, 2014 Author Posted January 11, 2014 Some people are quite simply deranged. Â When Moritz was recieving treatment in front of the ESL,one guy further up from me stood up screamed "you may as well stay off the pitch you lazy bastard" Â Nearly as bad as the mentalists groaning and shouting shoot when we are trying to build an attack. He is not a winger!  But danns certainly didn't get wide enough at times, when defending. Edited January 11, 2014 by HomerJay Quote
mannyroad58 Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 I thought the performance today was what we've been looking for all season a good 96 minutes of wanting to go out and win a game off football. TBF forest also made a game of it. Talking to a forest fan with his 2 kids on the way back to the car and he said he's been to most grounds over the years and he said that ours is 1 of the best he's ever had the privilage to go too which filled me full of pride Quote
captainmed Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 (edited) Such has been the dross served up at home that we are now content with a home draw against a supposed top team. We are possibly over emphasising  the positives as there have been so few this season.  DF has changed formations and players with such alarming regularity that some degree of stability has quite rightly been welcomed.    People say they are surprised that Forest were wasting time. Why? We are a recent premier league club with top earners,  they are man for man a worse team than us, and have an away point against a team I am sure they thought would be in the top 6 at this stage of the season. Recollecting our away game there in August, that was certainly their fans thoughts re BWFC then.  I firmly believe that we should have got rid of DF earlier in the season and had many opportunities to do so after many inept performances, an un-acceptable league position throughout the season and only 2 home wins. Wigan are a good example of what can be achieved when this happens. We would have gone above Wigan had we beaten them 3 weeks ago. They are now 3 points off the play-offs and we are 18th with only one win since which was against the bottom team in the league at the time.                     The season is effectively over. We will not be in danger of relegation but the play-offs are a distant dream.   I see no point in getting rid now but all we can hope for is a strong end to the season and good start to 2014/2015 season.  If we do not start next season well he goes before October.  We must not become content being 18th in the Championship.  He is out of his depth in my opinion.
