CD did rattle the bar Tuesday but didn't really hold the ball up at all.

 

Our best move of the match was the new lad holding it up back to goal and playing Chungy in with a really cute ball. Of course the shot was fired over though

I might be completely wrong but sometimes with big lads the penny drops mid 20s there are lots of examples just get a hunch he could be one of those. Either way he's worth a longer look than the 20 starts he's had for us.

2 good examples of strikers who did it for us after going round the block are SJM and KD, he's played 20 games for us many as sub Freedman said he was not fit he is fit now looks a threat good physical strength something we've not had in our team since KD in his pomp and we've missed that, give the lad a chance.

Saw him a few times during his time at Cov.

 

Was pretty handy, not much of a goal threat admittedly but brought others in to play very well.

Also, like all other forwards at that time, was hampered rather than helped by the man formerly known as SKD.

Our forward are hampered by how we play; rarely do our wingers/ wide midfielders skin someone, get to the byline and pull it back. Most of the balls to Davies on Tuesday were played with his back to goal, he nor anyone else has much chance.
