RUREADY2ROLL Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Snoop firstly where was it contradictory and secondly just fuck off If you had been there tonight you would (well maybe not reading your regular comments on here) have seen yourself how shit this idiot sets up a team All this crap about blaming Coyle needs to stop because the present management are miles worse The majority of the fans have now seen the light and he wont be round much longer As for the stewards getting in the ground my mate didn't get through; they said he was staggering when he was as sober as a judge and forced him to buy coffee or they would not consider him again. He got in 30 minutes into the game. Bastards should be sued; he travelled from Cheshire for the game and to just to stop him coming in is outrageous. Quote
SnoopJohnnyJohn Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Snoop firstly where was it contradictory and secondly just fuck off One player is lazy, the other one made a mistake leading to the goal, but clearly it's the tactics are wrong. If you can't see how that is contradictory, then you're just dumb. I was trying to give you the benefit of the doubt. If you had been there tonight you would (well maybe not reading your regular comments on here) have seen yourself how shit this idiot sets up a team By all accounts we gave a decent showing against a team that are clearly miles ahead of us in the league. I think that suggests the set up wasn't as bad as you make out. Yes, they had more possession, but the stats of shots, shots on target etc were pretty even for both teams. The majority of the fans have now seen the light and he wont be round much longer Thankfully the fans aren't the ones that make that decision - I beg to differ and would like to suggest that he'll be here all season and at least the start of next season too. only1swanny Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 The team setup is a joke, He's like a kid playing on Champ-Man, Fancies the European style but doesn't have the players to do it, so he tries it anyway. Players lack motivation, drive, determination, yet he picks them week in week out, could have tested the water with a few players in safer conditions before now, but he hasn't.. Pre-season was used as a shop window, rather than trying out some young lads. No other walk of life can a manager blame his staff for such failings.. Quote
RUREADY2ROLL Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 (edited) We didn't in any way show a good account for ourselves; we were shit I don't doubt that you are white through and through Snoop and living in the states must be frustrating. But he set us up to defend and he cant see that we cant fucking defend ZK is a lazy fucker and White fucked up for the first goal - they are facts. But DF or whoevers tactics are just wrong Edited January 28, 2014 by RUREADY2ROLL Quote
SnoopJohnnyJohn Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 But he set us up to defend and he cant see that we cant fucking defend We can't defend, that much is true. But setting us up to attack when we can't defend is asking for trouble. We need to get back to basics and get a 0-0 again. Then build on that. I believe that's what he's trying - we don't have the attacking players to try and outscore the opposition. Quote
ex_midlandwhite Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 It was better than Reading. Thought we did ok on the whole. Only the second team to score a second half goal there this season I think. Already looking forward to Saturday Quote
RUREADY2ROLL Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Snoop we have gone from being half a decent side to absolute dog shite in 12 months The buck stops with the management Quote
SnoopJohnnyJohn Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Snoop we have gone from being half a decent side to absolute dog shite in 12 months The buck stops with the management It's longer than 12 months mate. My last game before I emigrated was Stoke at Wembley. I put it to you that we've been on a downwards spiral since then. Quote
RUREADY2ROLL Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 Before the stoke game started our rot; as soon as we lost Stuart Holden we seemed to lose confidence A good manager would have halted the downwards spiral; he has speeded the vortex up Quote

Like a termite-infested floor, there's rot that needs removing before you can rebuild. Quote
davidjack Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 520 there apparently. Top effort. They don't deserve the support they've had this past couple of seasons. By way of comparison, 177 Wigan fans at Boro and 720 Rovers at Barnsley. Quote

bolton va va Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 Just home.....I thought we shaded the first half, created a few chances ( i think we hit the bar, but it was at the far end) but QPR scored off their first serious attack. It took us a bit to get going in the second half, but the substitutions perked us up well....Lee had some good touches & the Pole was a real handful. Probably deserved at least a draw. Mark Davies was the best player on the pitch when he had the ball but drifted out of the game a bit. Both attacking subs did well. Lonergan & Mills were a bit shaky, & young White is nowhere near ready for the first team yet. QPR's stewards are mad keen...3 separate checks before you get in the ground, though TBF they weren't over aggressive. Quote
jules_darby Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 Opposition scored off their first real attack / chance Synonymous with the DF era I'm afraid Quote

We had a van escort us back to the tube station ffs. Of course I was also sober as a judge Quote

MACCA Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 6 wins in 27 games. That my friends is fucking terrible. We've played and drew against most of the teams around us at home and we are in deep deep shite at the minute. Freedman has got to pull his head from up his arse and change the way we play. Quote

Of course I was also sober as a judge They used to let you get aled up in the Springbok and stagger to the ground no bother at QPR....that's changed quite a bit then! Quote
Horwich Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 Never said it before.....but dougies time is up Quote
DazBob Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 It's hard to get a real picture of a game from listening to it on the radio (although it's obvs not skewed), but listening to it in the first half last night it sounded like QPR were handing posession over to us cheaply, time and time again. We just didn't have the quality to punish them for it. We make a mistake and, bang, we're losing 1-0. Sounded very much like QPR were there for the taking last night. Quote

tomski Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 In isolation the performance was okay. White started strong and cravies was working the front line well. The first goal was unfortunate on white as it should of been mopped up but these things happen when he's starting out. Our new striker held the ball up well and put a lovely through ball in at 2-1 which resulted with chungy not shooting. Ill put my tin hat on now and stick with my original theory that we should give Dougie ten games into next season. My only basis is now I just simply want it to work and am more in fear of the alternative. On a side note I don't get the 'how shit must you be chants' when we are at 0-0 or 1-0 as I see no boost to a team low on confidence. Quote
DazBob Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 Or we are good at breaking down play but too piss poor organised to do anything with it. Again, only going off the radio, but it just sounded like sloppy passing on their part rather than us forcing them into making mistakes. When we get the shots away they're saved, whistle just wide, into the side netting or hit the woodwork. Does that mean we're just being a bit unlucky or just not good enough? One thing we've definitely not got is a clinical finisher in our squad. A player where you just know if he gets a chance he'll tuck it away. Our best finisher has probably been Baptiste this season. Quote
mickbrown Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 Don't worry chaps. Dougie says our luck will change. There speaks a manager on top of his game. Quote
