Craig Davies, Lee and Danns played well.

At 8's, isn't as if it's odds on! Half the league is under 20's. In short, they didn't have a clue.

When a manager says he's satisfied after a performance and result like that... I worry his standards are lower than they should be. I know we lost heavily the game before but to send out the message that the football served up today was satisfying it leaves me wondering. I have no illusions we should be a Premiership team. I'm not even sure I want to be trying to compete with the likes of City given our finances. I do expect better than this season in terms of quality though. It's bad! I would prefer to know he knows I am supporting despite it being BAD!

There aren't any reasons other than the excuse making "its not his fault", " Davies can't afford to sack him "and "every manager would buy shit players and get shit results with no money", conveniently forgetting Burnley are challenging for promotion having spent less money.

Without sounding like the uberwanker, people shouldn't be allowed to talk about bookies odds unless they know how they work.

Bit late on parade so apologies if the game's been chewed over a fair bit, for what it's worth I enjoyed having a change from NSL and seeing the game from a different angle in the WSU. Didn't make us look any better though. Some not bad approach play in midfield but far too often no end product apart from that little flurry in the 2nd half.

 

Chungy had one of his better games, looked more comfortable against (just about) Premier League opposition who gave him a bit more space. Eagles was a complete fanny and delivered absolutely zero. Davies is a clogger and another DF signing who's a big enough lad but completely incapable of heading a ball. Waste of money we can hardly afford to toss about.

 

Danns was head and shoulders our best player, statement of where we are but not his fault, fair play to him worked damned hard, held the ball up in tight spaces well and looked a threat when he got near goal. Felt sorry for Lonergan, first howler he's made but ended up costly. Overall though, it was dreary stuff, never usually go before the whistle but bailed at 90 mins in pretty safe knowledge we wouldn't score

 

Pretty good turnout considering they weren't that much of a draw and it was a foul day.

Listened to BBC Radio Manchester on way home from game. Bloke came on, had a go at the team then said he listened to game on a different show (I assume Tower). Once he'd told everyone what was going wrong with the team he then had a go at the low crowd.
