Diehards In Your Area.

I know the Bolton lot will mop up the vast amount of support, but what about the out lying area ? From being a kid on the service bus to Burnden, you always had loads in the South of the town from Astley, Walkden, L/H and Farnworth . Since moving to Leigh over 25 years ago, you still get a big following from Atherton and Tyldesley.

Are there 149 of them?

We saw spazzy Darren walking his poodle on Sunday

The majority I know in Adlington is mainly Bolton with united probably second. The odd sprinkling of Preston and Blackburn but no Wigan fans to be seen. I actually didn't meet a single Wigan fan until I met one at work in Manchester about three years ago. I was beginning to think they were a fabled tribe.

Not sure what the demographic is like once you get into Chorley. A few more PNE I'd imagine.

precise but incorrect spider man x

All Leicester here.

Specially now they're going well.

Seem to be mostly Bolton in Heaton.. or at least leaning that way..

Loads of fylde coast whites.

Used to have a fylde coast Whites supporters club for a good few years,Super John,Colin Todd,Branny etc all came and did Q&A's.

Used to get a good 100-150 every other month.

Loads of Bolton folk moved to Blackpudle in the 60's.

First met daft Pete on black Sunday when my dad ran a coach from Blackpool to Burnden via leyland...he found out about the coach off a fellow Bolton fan in church that morning! Haha

Used to run the odd coach to aways, the Last bus I ran was to stoke semi and filled a 50+ seater.

Got a lot of younger fans that still put the miles in that got involved during the glory years under Sam...only time will tell if they stick about, but they are still there in ESL every week.

Not many around here chaps as we live in Blackburn and dare I say it right at the back of Ewood Park

There's some up in Lancaster

I've begun to see just how many Adlington whites there are the last couple of aways I've been on.

Not quite such a Wanderers hotbed down here in Hulme Castlefield.

the manc and Salford overspill has diluted the tyldesley support

You get a fair few in Wigan. Nobody in Wigan actually supports Wigan so you get loads of fans of other teams, mainly gloryhunting City/United/Liverpool but plenty Bolton/Dingles and all

the manc and Salford overspill has diluted the tyldesley support

And the accent too!

yes it has, what a horrible accent a mancunian one is, for me on par with scouse

Big numbers in Radcliffe and little lever

Late 70s we had a group of us meet up at the railway Moses gate, we'd wait for the other Farnworth lads to walk down from the Queens and post office, and walk it down to Burnden, meeting up with the Highfield mob at bottom of weston street, King Bill then wait for opposition, fuck me the memories will live with me forever, very happy days.

Moses Gate is a rum area, i hope you had your wits about you!

LH and Walkden have a really good number of whites old LH and Walkden folk usually Bolton, thanks to the Walkden whites there's loads of youth who go to watch Bolton I would say considering how bad we are WW youth are thriving and are proper dyed in the wool know all the old songs Bolton.

Remember Walkden Whites stickers everywhere.

Stickers, badges, etc... Though Boro fans are convinced WW is a charity in aid of Wheelchair Whites! A few pubs round here will always hold a good following of whites; the brindley, Albion, and dukes gate all frequented by whites

It's a pity it's not a question on the census - which team do you support? You'd see some surprising trends I reckon eg how many fans we have who travel an hour and more to the match. There'd still be too much red across a map of Bolton, but a lot less than say 20 years ago.

Remember Walkden Whites stickers everywhere.

Mogger. :)

Walkden and LH still represent well

Look at the out-of-towners!!!
