I was furious at Dougie for bringing Mark Davies off for a defender a couple of games back - really shifted the pressure onto our defenders when we were generally controlling the game.

If it 2 up, does mavies play wide where he less effective or in the centre where we risk being overrun ?

 

Or is Doug gonna try the diamond again without wingers and pack the midfield?

Didn't Eagles miss a penalty at Huddersfield last season? Wouldn't fancy him or anybody else at moment but hopefully it's a problem we might face on Saturday. I'd go for Danns if he's on pitch or Mavies

He still talks a good game, apart from the last few seconds where he said that we attack teams from the off and really start well, not sure I'm with him on that one.

 

With 2 up top M.Davies has to be in centre mid for me, I'd have Medo next to him at the moment but it will be Spearing, then get Danns on one wing, preferably the left to give Ream some help and one of the other wingers on the right, or Pratley if we feel Baptiste will need some cover (more than likely)

He made a point of praising the Mills/Wheater partnership in that interview so I'd be surprised if that happened.

 

Also agree with Bowton Baked that Lee/Eagles in a 442 would be suicide. If we go with 2 up top then for me you have to go more conservative on the wings, Danns is perfect for that because he's decent going forward too.
