From 1953 until the switch to the summer season Wigan v Warrington always took place at Central Park on New Year's Day.

This year the fixture is on 1st March in Las Vegas.

Is there a reason why RL is going to be played in Las Vegas? - I'm not having it the Americans are going to be interested in a sport that barely registers any level interest over here, outside of the M62 corridor

Fair play for the fans who travel over though, they'll have a great time I'm sure

It was quite good fun, and really busy, but it seemed with almost every nationality except Americans.

It’s not quite Blackpool v BWFC, but it’s certainly one of the benefits of RL that the atmosphere and rivalries are much closer to football than ‘respect the kicker’ in RU.
