What's the general feeling with leigh fans? I can't believe it I thought it was a joke, Featherstones piss take on twitter was as credible. Quote

Majority are very unhappy but will grudgingly put up with it rather than jacking in (and eventually I’ll probably calm down enough to end up in that bracket, I suppose) Seen very few who are happy with it other than a minority of arse lickers Patience will probably wear thin very quickly if there’s a poor start to the season though Quote

jmjhb Posted November 12, 2022 Posted November 12, 2022 Well done to Samoa, but that's a truly abject loss really Quote

Dropped the ball and forward pass, both times giving Samoa possession in the England half of the field when only a drop goal is needed to win a semi final. Quote
jeep Posted November 12, 2022 Posted November 12, 2022 Best team won.... England bottled it.... Aussies will put 50 on next Saturday... Quote
Members Lt. Aldo Raine Posted November 12, 2022 Members Posted November 12, 2022 They lost their heads. It's as simple as that. And in truth they've failed at the first real hurdle. It's real body blow for the sport in this country but wegot what we deserved. Quote
MancWanderer Posted November 12, 2022 Posted November 12, 2022 Have to say that the Aus/NZ semi was one of the best sporting events I’ve ever watched Quote
Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted November 12, 2022 Site Supporter Posted November 12, 2022 Some harsh comments there. Missed chances early doors and a couple of big errors. Samoa also justified the pre tournament comments about how good they are. Certainly didn't bottle it though, and remarkable spirit to fight back at the death. Quote

I suppose it depends on the definition of bottling it but they definitely lost their composure and discipline after levelling the scores late on. I can't think of any other explanation for England's play during the golden point period. Quote

From beating the same team a few weeks ago 60-6 to losing today is bottling it..... England were lucky to get a draw at 80 minutes... Quote
