Wouldn't say massively, definitely played better with him but were still a bang average side. See games against Bournemouth, Derby, Yeovil, Charlton, Brum etc...

I do hope we get him, but we need someone else in to partner him too. Can't rely on Beckford.

First game Bournemouth at home after which we had 29 points from 29 games

Next 17 games 30 points.

So from relegation form to promotion form.

For me that is massive.

Came up against a lot of teams later on in the season that were pretty much already on their holidays, and like I said we still struggled against some pretty dire sides.

I can't see much improvement next season on our league standings. If we finish in the top 10, I'd consider that a massive success with our current crop.

Agreed ...massive difference.

With Juke we could play one up front & he could hold the ball up, or two up front with another striker playing off him ( Mason was a far more effective player alongside Juke ), he gave us an aerial / physical threat that we had lacked, scored a few goals & was a big improvement on Craig Davies

.

Possibly  not premier league quality, but very good in the championship & IMO vital to our current squad.

Ok if you do not think that is a massive improvement then no point trying to convince you otherwise

4 games before he came was Reading away 4 games after Blackburn at home then Leeds away.

The difference between those performances was more massive than City.

Nail on the head.

You don't have to be the best player in the world to make a big difference in the right team at this level. Vokes at Burnley being a good example

I'm not denying we played well in those games, but just look at the performances against the sides I named above plus more, Millwall for example. Still, very average compared to the top sides in the league.

Like I said, I hope we do sign him as he does improve the team, but even with him I'm not expecting much from next season. I hope I'm wrong though, sooner we get back to the Premiership, the better.

I think he improves us massively. A target man who can also play football and is a good finisher. We hardly gave the Juke/Beckford partnership much of a chance last season (due to injuries). I very much believe he could bring the best out of Beckford. Boro would be wise to give him a second chance. Hope they don't though.

Plus they need to stop making documentary's about players coming through the same season. Wankers

The Premier League effectively ruined football and started the spending spiral. Which your lot voted for.

It's being reported on Twitter that Sordell has finally signed for Burnley on a three year contract.

so City spent 17.92 mil more than Chelsea but won the league twice, I would say that Chelsea have ruin it more because they've spent nearly as much and bought shit
