Guest Blixa Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 So Huddersfield get Le Fondre and we sign a lad from a pub league. Blimey, didn't realise they'd shut the window early? Quote
ianofcleveleys Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 (edited) Plenty of options, Huddersfield, we'll have Nahki Wells then if he's getting his nose pushed out Edited January 21, 2015 by ianofrochdale Quote

jules_darby Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 I'd rather have Eagles than Le FondreThat's like saying you'd rather have a pen than a shoe Quote
Mounts Kipper Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 So Huddersfield get Le Fondre and we sign a lad from a pub league. It's obvious were holding out for Commons we can't be spending our limited budget on just anyone as decent as Le Fondre is I'd back Lennons judgement on this one. Quote

burnden Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 He scored 31 in 45 games from midfield last season , 6 goals in 25 appearances this season . Quote
Guest Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 The Irish lad is 22. Hope he isn't labelled as one for the future...... Quote
Traf Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 Yes it can. But, to be fair, he wasn't juggling or balancing the ball on his head like a seal "a la Braaten" - you can see from those few clips that he has a confident touch and he's got some pace. Apples and Oranges mate. His touch didn't look that great tbh. Quote
Ratwhite Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 The Irish lad is 22. Hope he isn't labelled as one for the future...... Don't start with that phrase. He looks like a youmg, nasty, Robbie Keane... http://www.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/sport/football/local/warrenpoint-town/daniel-hughes-bags-double-as-warrenpoint-grab-vital-win-30876446.html Quote
Biggish Dave Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 I don't care where he's come from, some of our latest signings have been from premier league Crystal Palace and are/were useless. In Lennon we trust Quote
jagermoot Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 A link on news now today with some younguns from Liverpool that could start against us on Saturday. Ones a nippy left back, hopefully we can put in a belting performance and other big teams will be happy for us to borrow some of their talents? I'd really like to know what happened to the Chelsea loan option. http://www.empireofthekop.com/anfield/2015/01/21/five-exciting-young-liverpool-starlets-feature-bolton-weekend/? Quote

I can't imagine the loan option was a free gift or we'd have had Oscar in by now. Quote

Guest Blixa Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 nobody ever explained how they thought that would work least of all coyle Hence the constant spouting of misinformation about it since. I suspect it was talked up a bit (understatement of the year). Quote

Sweep Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 Because the powers that be won't finalise the deal He doesn't want to move anywhere yet. He would rather wait until the end of the season and be a free agent, and then still come to us, but for a slightly higher basic Quote
Guest Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 Because the powers that be won't finalise the deal Really? Because Celtic are absolutely adamant that he won't go anywhere this season. A decent fee would probably change their minds but we haven't got the ability to do that. Can't sign players without their selling clubs agreeing..... Quote
