Our biggest single loss was in the last accounts c£50m this occurred because we lost the huge tv revenue but still had premiership wages, again you could question whether wages should have drastic relegation clauses in but I am sure if this meant we weren't signing good enough players in the prem due to the clause you would also again be complaining.

Actually, Eddie, I think it came from a write down of overstated value of players contracts

True to a point, I think £20m of it was impairment to basically write the player value down to next to nothing (ensuring any proceeds we receive for our players from now on is now classed as a profit) but from what I can remember I think £30-35m was a genuine loss which was mainly due to us still having a large wage bill but a massively reduced revenue.

There was a lot of 'clever' accounting went into those accounts, I remember thinking at the time that they were filed on the last possible day allowed which was about 2 months later than they had the previous year. I bet there was some fun conversations had with Deloitte.

Don't forget, he's now taken it private again so there won't be anything like the amount of detail to pick over in the next statement

I reckon the next three games may be very defining in DF's managerial career.

Derby H

Fulham A

Bournemouth H

Fulham

what a time to go there

on the one (jeremy beadle sized) hand - they haven't even won yet

on the other - it's been our bogey ground for a long time, we never fucking win there - since we played them pretty much every season since 2000, I can only think of that cup win en route to the semis, I hate playing Fulham

Why do people keep saying this? If he was going to go, he would have gone by now. Three games more isn't going to tell ED and PG anything they don't already know.

People are just hoping.

Hence why a boycott and protest is needed so them muppets in suits can see the fans have had enough

He's a DMB - what's he got to do with anything

Perhaps they already know the fans have had enough, but they don't really care what the fans think

Because if its L L L or a combination of L D L, we could be bottom of the league, which regardless of whta Df says, PG and ED will have to take notice.

I personally hoe its W W W and things improve, but........................

We had our worst start in over 100 years last season and he's still here. I doubt there's a game-by-game timeline on whether he stays or goes. I think he's here until the end of his contract at least.

It is unreasonable people thinking they are being reasonable. They aren't.

I am hoping a decent run of results is coming (based only on optimism). But I've already said that he will either complete his contract or go in March if things are really dire at that point.

Sheffield Wednesday held out till half time against ManCity and then fell apart conceding 7 in the second half.

Bolton were outplayed for over an hour by Chelsea but were chasing an equaliser in the last 15 minutes.

No doubt which of the Championship teams (and their followers) felt better afterwards.

But if we had equalised, and then conceded a hatfull in extra time?
