Islamic State

Why are we not bombing the fuck out of this lot with the yanks? I can understand why the Commons voted against not to get involved with the Syria thing. But this is different. If anyone needs blasting to fuck it's these cunts.

How is he still on the street if he's been involved in pervious incidents? Crackers.

Possibly down to human rights lawyers ?

Be interesting to find out....

Google translate says the woman he's killed was Cheggers.

Also says he was a Syrian refugee known to the police but it's not being treated as terrorism.

She was, so now rumours of a honour killing.

Honour killing. If ever there was a phrase which the PC crowd should try and change - it's that one.

I'm surprised he wasn't killed years ago

Suicide bomb injures 12 in Germany.

Looks like the Syrian bomber is the only person killed.

very lucky, refused entry to the venue with 2500 inside...

not brilliant for the 12 injured, but could have been much much worse

folk slagging of the bbc for this headline

Pointing out should read Syrian Suicide bomber injures 12 people in Germany.

One thing for sure Merckel rapidly becoming unelectable and the balance of power will move to the right and Euro sceptic it should make negotiations over Brexit completely different from what it would have been just a month or 2 back.

Syrian Suicide Bomber? How would we know, seeing as they cover it all up?

You've just got to put the pieces together :shiftyninja:

You reap what you sow.

Merkel would be indicted for what she did if she was the US President.

I do hope the do-gooders around the world who celebrated these well meaning but patently foolhardy and misguided acts by the German government have a good look at themselves, the stupid, stupid bastards.

No doubt they will just shrink into the background just as they do when you challenge them about the fucking disaster they created in Zimbabwe. Starving but free. Hallelujah brother.

I see the German interior minister Thomas de Maiziere has caused a shitstorm with his "don't panic" comment.

What a fucking clown.

The sooner people wake up, then the sooner talk of German right wing revolt will cease.

Folk will say it's the minority of immigrants/asylum seekers but didn't they say that about football hooligans and look at the bad press they got ?

Left wingers need to take their blinkers off.

It's left wingers who've spent the last 20-30 years trying to stop us engaging in unwinnable wars in foreign countries.

Maybe if you'd listened instead of calling us all hand wringing pacifists we would be living in a safer world?

Centrist and right wing governments caused this mess - not the left.

What about the 20-30 years before that ?

Have a serious think about your answer.

You wouldn't want to be working for the Bavarian Tourist Board at the moment

Before my time Miami - are you making a point about Communism before, during and after WW2? All I know is that in the time I've been old enough to have some kind of grasp on politics - anti war sentiment has come from the left. And with the benefit of hindsight - I think the 'stop the war' crowd were right all along. We're in a shitty state - and that's got very little to do with the left who haven't been in a realistic position to affect anything for a long, long time. Just a voice shouting from the margins - being pilloried by people who were making decisions which are now proving monumentally bad.

In a way I agree with Kent but I'm sure from a completely different angle. We need to stop thinking with our western mentality as to what is and isn't right for a country. Let them be and if they don't like their own regimes then they can sort that themselves.

Having said that, I'm not sure why Syria is our fault unless we were supposed to have ousted Assad, in which case these folk need to decide if we are to help them or not.

Wasn't it Blair and the Labour Party who took us into Afghanistan and Iraq that was the catalyst for the current shitstorm?

Partially agree.

However would the lefties sit by and watch the likes of Saddam and Gaddafi commit genocide? How would they put an end to it? Peace pipe? Tell them off? Wag their finger?

Strong people make strong choices, often uncomfortable, often dangerous, but generally for the greater good.

By contrast the weak sit there and point out the errors of those actions whilst offering fuck all in return. Its easy for them to say 'reap what you sew', pissing and whining about human rights. What about the human rights of gay people in Muslim areas who are 'cured' by stoning or being thrown from a building? Or women not allowed to drive, vote, show a bit of ankle, flogged for enjoying the luxury of being gang raped?

Are they living in a safer world?

Where's the bedwetters there, championing their cause, denouncing barbaric primitive acts in the name of religion? Fucking nowhere. Wankers the lot of them.

Wasn't it Blair and the Labour Party who took us into Afghanistan and Iraq that was the catalyst for the current shitstorm?

It was - but do you think that the Labour Party was left wing under Blair?

Wasn't it Blair and the Labour Party who took us into Afghanistan and Iraq that was the catalyst for the current shitstorm?

I was just actually going to post that myself but you beat me to it Mounts whilst agreeing with both Kent and NB re Britain getting involved in wars which have little to do with us. Historical links always seem to tie us in though one way or the other.

Re the modern day left wingers, I'd like to see what folk are now thinking on Merkel and Germany's daily increasing anger. Europe is one fucked up place right now. Many speakers are correct in saying when Saddam and Gaddafi were in power the world was a safer place.

Well, it was mainly for the West, as we'd only normally see atrocities in the Middle Eastern hotbed.

I mentioned a while ago re Wahhabi madrassas opening up in large numbers particularly in Germany. They are the real cause of global terrorism but go back well before Kent's time and indeed mine. But their rise can be pinpointed to a certain era which I was aiming at earlier.

As Kent says, we are in a shitty state. Who can solve it ?

I personally think we'll end up in the middle of it all as always.
