Islamic State

Why are we not bombing the fuck out of this lot with the yanks? I can understand why the Commons voted against not to get involved with the Syria thing. But this is different. If anyone needs blasting to fuck it's these cunts.

Aye, we did that sort of thing in the past. There's this big fucking hot place full of spiders down south somewhere that we used.

What was the name of it again?  ;)

Mirkwood?

I think this plan might need a little more thought

No, no, no - you didn't let me get to the part where once they are all in one place we deploy the tactical nuclear warheads.

Ah, thought there was a it missing

Perhaps it is time to let the extremists have a little place, full of rocks and sand. Let anyone that wants to go do so. Let them live how they want. No one else need go, no trade etc just cut then off from the world. Anyone that tries to come out shove them back in.

How many are on this watchlist? How do you get on a watchlist? Where do we put them?

.

Listening to LBC today, they've said there are currently 2000 people on the "watch list" here in the UK - at present only 1 of them is on a curfew

Anyone on the watch list should be tagged and have all there calls monitored if they don't agree chuck them inside.

You have no choice in the matter.

You're wrong. Don't think the thoughts which you post on here don't flash through my mind from time to time. It's natural and it's human and it's instinctive.

Unfortunately what's natural, human and instinctive isn't always what's best for a functioning society.

Anyone on the watch list should be tagged and have all there calls monitored if they don't agree chuck them inside.

I'm not saying you're wrong, but I suppose that if you have a tag put on you, then you know you're being watched....also, being tagged won't stop you walking into a supermarket and beheading somebody.

I'm assuming those on the list don't know they're under surveillance....and I'd be surprised if they don't already have their phones tapped....although it's too easy to get a PAYG phone these days, so I'd expect they would be switching phones/numbers on a very regular basis.

the guy who did the church was on tag wasn't he?, there' was some geezer on bbc breakfast who studies terrorists/ extremists, he said basically there is fuck all you can do as they go from bombs/guns to trucks and knifes you just can't police it

I was really surprised by how easy this was. Went to a festival the other week and wanted to take an old phone with me just in case.

Went and bought a £1 sim with no ID and then paid £10 cash for a top up card. So there's nothing (barring perhaps some CCTV in a shop) linking me with the sim card. Seems berzerk to me under current circumstances.

This is a different threat than the ira, they had an identified end goal. What the fuck do these isis lot want to achieve? Seems to me the eradication of western ways.

Basically summed them up in a nutshell.

It is their way or the highway.

Non believers or converters are eradicated, even their own Muslim brothers as we've seen many times already.

Goes back centuries, but some prat sort of reinvented it a few decades ago, then aligned with the oil wealth, it's developed bigger than before.

With them saying they're at war with the west, they should be treated like prisoners when captured or at least tried as such when they try to go to foreign lands to fight. On their return, they should be locked up.

The guy at the church was on tag but it was turned off. I'd think that anyone on tag who shows unusual movements could quickly be investigated or watched such as the guy heading into a church would be peculiar behavior. It's not perfect solution but the alternative is to do nothing and risk more atrocities.

how does this tagging work though?  thought it was just for curfews

surely you don't have someone round the clock watching their movements via GPS on a map, and then deciding if they are unusual or not?

The tag is just for curfew

If these on the watch list were tagged with GPS tags, and their every movement was watched, they would happily lead our security services a merry dance and keep them busy whilst untagged colleagues do the nasty stuff

They could run in the shape of a massive cock and balls with bits of spunk coming out of the end.

Is the point of a watch list that the folk are suspected of doing something but they are being a watched to help gather intelligence on them and others ?

These are not sleeper cells they are small groups of individuals who are being influenced by others. It is getting to the others that is the challenge.

The hard thing is that once you go down the route of allowing secret service types to just kill people on suspicion you are handing control to the wrong people and you have to question what it actually is you are fighting for. One fact is that the veterans that the right seem to think they own did not fight wars so our Government could just kill folk they do not like.

That's exactly the point of the watch list

Which begs the question - who leads you to the rest of the cunts when you've deported them all back to IS land?

If you could invent a bedroom sized space ship and accelerate it to almost the speed of light them your Mrs could spend a couple of weeks getting ready and by the time she returned to earth she'd be ready and all in the time it had taken you to have a wee.

Edit - think this might be in the wrong thread! :-)

Talking of nuclear stuff, I see a renown Bolton company will be involved in the Hinkley Project.

Booths Industries are a subsidiary of Redhall who are a strategic partner involved in specialist nuclear products.

Redhall's shares may see upside tomorrow, even though the project will be years in the making, they've been in discussions for many moons.

Buy on rumour,sell on news.

 Isle of Man?

Give me the practicalities of it all man.

And for what it's worth, as somebody mentioned, all it did in Northern Ireland was spawn a new generation of pissed off terrorists.

To be fair, a few years in the Isle of Man would sort most of Al Qaeda and ISIS out. They'd be begging to convert, just to get out of that self-styled, self-governing, barbaric Kellyphate.

Is true that everyone on the Isle of Man wears tank tops and spends all day on rollerboots?

You make a very good point of course but my immediate thought is for the innocents slaughtered by these filthy scumbags. Sometimes the lesser of two evils is the only choice.
