We're currently on holiday in Florence, feel very reassured here, lots of Italian old bill around with guns and even seen armed soldiers a few times. She said her eight-year-old son witnessed the shooter loading his weapon in the men’s toilets in McDonalds. She said:

"I come out of the toilet and I hear like and alarm, boom, boom ,boom. He's killing the children. The children are sitting to eat. They cannot run."

She also said the man yelled: ‘Allahu Akbar’

 

She said she recognised this phrase as she herself is Muslim from Kosovo, according to CNN.
