Ani
Lots of new rules coming in about telling people what they paid last year when sending out renewals so less companies will be giving up front discounts.

stevieb
House only? 60 quid for mine from the Coop. Wahey! Good lass keeping me in a job. We are quite competitive for home in Bolton from what I remember. I'm with John Lewis. Got quoted 550 for everything with us;contents, phones, personal possessions and my Mrs engagement ring specified, was only 200 with John Lewis! stevieb
Oh as well... If you set up a buildings and contents policy with the coop insurance at the moment they are giving away a karcher window vac. If it's competitive you are laughing. If it's not competitive and you still set it up for the gift you are a clown!

Site Supporter MickyD Posted January 25 Site Supporter Share Posted January 25 Just got my renewal for buildings & contents. Been with Churchill for donkey’s years. They wanted £370. That’s something in the region of 25% up on last year which auto renewed because I’m an idle fucker who just didn’t bother looking elsewhere. This time I have done. Got it for £122 Now, if it was an insurance company called Grabyer, Cash & Scarper I’d be dubious about handing my money over but it’s Hastings Direct. £250+ savings not to be sniffed at. Make sure you shop around boys and girls.
Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted January 25 Site Supporter Share Posted January 25 Have you checked the levels of cover are the same? Some offer limits per item for example, and you may need additional bits for expensive items.
