I'm not a fan of what I'm about to say because it's used unnecessarily at times. But Oldham is a proper northern club. Good to see them back in the league. Chuffed for 'em.

Yeah. If you dont like it, turn it off and watch Dad's Army or it ain't half hot mum on Dave. Loads of blokes on them.

But managed to be arsed to make a pointless and meaningless comment.

If you're flicking on the football and find yourself frothing at the mouth over who is and isn't doing the punditry, then it's really time to re-evaluate what's got you to this point in life.

If who is or isn’t doing the punditry is irrelevant, why do the BBC (especially), Sky, etc. spend vast amounts on their contracts? Given they do, why shouldn’t the viewer (who ultimately pays for this) have a view on who they do and don’t like?

Think your the one who's got the problem and too much time on their hands.I'm entitled to voice my opinon on any subject. You said, quote, you couldn't be arsed about it, but can be arsed making 3 pointless comments about my inital comment since.

Unsurprisingly, your comprehension skills appear to be lacking.

I said I couldn't fathom being arsed about women being on the telly, what I can be arsed about is calling out sexist and misogynistic bollocks like your original post.

You should probably work on that. Have a good day.

Women are totally the equal of men. You have totally misunderstood my point. There's nothing wrong with my comprehension. KNOB.

Quite right.

People can have a different view, but everyone is entitled to one.

I could be wrong, but if you went back over the years and looked at all the criticism of male presenters, I reckon you'd find such made by some that are saying you shouldn't be arsed now.

Yep.

The same, typical comment often made: accuse someone of misogyny (racism etc) when in fact you're making a comment about someone by treating them as an equal.

Such accusatory behaviour is patronising to women, minorities etc that are working to achieve success on merit.

If criticism was based purely on the fact it is a woman, then he would have a point.

If the criticism is based on an individual's performance then he doesn't.

Generally, I don't think about the presenters/pundits too much, as I often turn them off.

I think they get undue stick at times, but equally their comments are largely just fluff and opinion to fill time that would be better used for game time.

That said, this particular game, I couldn't help but notice just how dull the presenter was.

Turn the sound (or better still the telly) off.

Easily solved.

Yep.

Game over, telly off.

Women's game today v Jamaica, all women panel, commentary, summary etc, no problem, no males. So why the hell do we have to have females involved in all of the above in the mens game.

What was the actual game like?

Palace ownership knew the rules. And while they're grumbling at the lost revenue, this actually could be good news for their fans, they're now in a competition they have a decent chance of winning.

John Texla or however you spell it was ace on the radio other day. Spoke for 90 mins with Simon Jordon.

It seems rather harsh and petty to me.

Especially when Girona and City can play in the same comp amongst plenty others.

This blind trust thing is bollocks. The forest owner certainly looks like he has control this week with the Gibbs White stuff.

Never knew Henrick Pedersen was assistent manager at Sheff Weds and was in line for managers.

All sounds a bit of mess there.
