I take it the sarcasm of that nickname passed you by? 😂 He used to get tonnes of grief, and in reality he really wasn’t that good a player, particularly when we were relying on him up top. Must say though that I always liked him because he was a proper grafter and was happy to just play wherever he was told to.

July 22, 20251 yr Not starting a new thread but sad to hear of the passing of Joey Jones, a proper character and tough defender.
