I'm not a fan of what I'm about to say because it's used unnecessarily at times. But Oldham is a proper northern club. Good to see them back in the league. Chuffed for 'em.

No doubt Eze will have the fun and flair knocked out of him in no time and turn into one of Arteta's dull rinse and repeat robots

I don't think anyone could disagree with that. The other mob from the east side of Glasgow also. Way out of their depth.

They gave a decent enough account of themselves last season finishing between Juventus and City

In the balance as to whether they make it to the league this season

A campaign in the conference league would give them both a chance to compete in the knock out stages and maybe win something

Keeper going with wrong hand there

All gone a bit pear shaped for West Ham since. Struggling badly without the ball

Could end up really bad this.

Potter won't last till October.

I'm not sure if he's always been this shit or if he's completely fallen off but Wan-Bissaka's been fucking dreadful

“Sack the board” given a rendition! Old school

1966 being proper bummed here

Potter very much a right time right place manager at Brighton

Like Cooper at Forest

One hit wonders

Hammers fans doing a Sunderland, massive early dart.

Promoted three will be rubbing their hands, one or two of the established sides giving them hope with the way they're starting

Was a bit surprised so many left on Tuesday considering we could have got a last minute winner. Same against Sheffield Wednesday. Although saw some who left pile back in after they heard the celebrations after ACD scored

Another hattrick for Kane last night.

His goal scoring record there (and let’s be honest, throughout his career) is phenomenal.

Type of player folk will appreciate more when he's retired.

Just like Rooney.

Trafford still playing Evatt ball

That goal Trafford has just conceded brings back bad memories of Santos/Trafford faffing about.  So glad those days are behind us.  Pep ball is shit.

That's on Pep

What the fucking hell is that

Looks like they've carried on from last season

Haaland should have scored there to

Nice to see Leeds getting ripped a new one.

I'm certain Gyoarkres (?) is not a PL title winning striker but nice goal anyway

Certain eh? Some conclusion to draw after Gyokeres has only played just over 1.5 games and has two goals already.

You did say 'PL title winning' so fair enough - that could well turn out to be correct. Not an easy thing to win.

I'll be surprised if he doesn't end up in the top 5 PL strikers for this season though.

Aye, just mean I don't think he'll make the difference Arsenal need to win the title, whereas had had they signed Osimhen I'd have thought maybe they'd have a better chance

Couldn't see City or Liverpool signing him

That said, Osimhen signed for Galatassary permanently, I thought he'd do better than that

He could've done but he burnt his bridges at Napoli then held out for too much money and cost himself a better move

So did Galatassary meet his demands?
