Ennis sent off for Blackpool. Hopefully a 3 match ban which means he doesn’t play against us.

Also Trafford starts for Citeh.

I'm not a fan of what I'm about to say because it's used unnecessarily at times. But Oldham is a proper northern club. Good to see them back in the league. Chuffed for 'em.

And Charles wasn't even on the bench for Huddersfield.

City changed their whole mantra here.

Robust and Dynamic.

I have a soft spot for Brentford, but my soft spot for Keith Andrews is a boggy price of swamp in East London.

I'm hoping they realise their error quickly & bin him off.

Having lost key players too, it may be that when whole place is a bit flat.

Whoever got the job there, was going to have a job on his hands- you just can't see the inspirational Andrews being the man to lift the club.

Certainly don’t have a soft spot but I’ve admired how they go about things and think the bloom and benham models clearly out perform anything else I’ve seen. I dislike Andrews but am delighted we don’t have his wisdom on the efl shows anymore😂

Every club always finds their natural level eventually.

I hope you're right. Top half Championship with the occassional promotion push is ours. If we don't get there in the next couple of years, I fear for us.

Champ in the next 2 seasons is pretty crucial from a financial perspective. If it takes a bit longer to be top 10 in champ, so be it.

We always come back. Time tells us that.

We’ll be back. Where we are going. We don’t need Rhodes

I know it was against yoonited and so a bit of a biased view but I can't remember seeing arsenal play so badly for a long time,  the giving the ball away must be up their with their worst in a game.  They looked like they need another 2 weeks pre season .

we've got 5 seasons left to make it back to the top flight in order to keep up our status of playing in the top flight in every decade since football began

be reet

ps we beat Sunderland 6-0 at home 3.5 years ago and look at them now

0-1 :)

Just seen Eze goal disallowed via VAR

Shit decision imo

But

Interesting to see the ref explains why over a loud speaker so everyone knows why

Longest we’ve ever been out of the top division is 17 years, so we need to get a shift on

Spot on this. I know it's only the first game of the season but you sensed that they would start the descent once they lost their manager and nearly all of their big names (one to go).

Just don't see how that set up can compete in that division. Might be wrong of course.
