Surely Potter, Martin and Amorim getting sacked would be a beltin' treble? Odds anywhere?

I'd put a £10'er on Martin, Rodgers & Potter.

Stretford will stick with Amorin. A shame, but they will.

Bruges will go a long way in the Champions League again. The 'team' they beat last night hopelessly out of their depth as were the other lot failing in Kazakhstan.

Bruges will go all the way to Flanders.

The Huns were unlucky - a crossbar away (twice) from beating their own record of losing by 6 and were only playing anyway because of Celtics success last season - looks like being just one Scottish CL slot next year. I suspect it won’t be Rangers, despite Celtics recruitment issues.

But the main event of the evening was marred by Brexit Jim not turning up in Grimsby. He’ll be coughing up his caviar after that.

A few folk on Amorims case, but he was a genius in Portugal so I suspect the Manure board should be looking somewhere closer to home for the real problem at that club.

I remember years ago, when the inflatables became the rage, they were in their thousands at a cup game somewhere.

A giant shoal!

Always stuck with me.

Imagine your leader sat hiding in the dugout :D

What happened to managers being the alpha male in the group, leading by example and setting the standards.

What a weak as piss pathetic individual.

Loving those black and white inflatable cods 😂

It's a Haddock.

"Harry the Haddock has been an iconic inflatable symbol for Grimsby fans for more than 34 years.

The marine mascot has been fished out for major games to help fans cheer on the Mariners."

The team/squad last night cost 887 million. Surely its the Glaziers fault for not giving them enough money to spend!🤣

A procession of previously successful managers have tried to turn them around and perhaps it’s because each one that comes in tries to make the team in their own image that a lot of babies have been thrown out with the bath water so they’ve not had a solid core of players for a long time.

Ferguson had a core, most successful clubs do - a spine of five or six players that the team can be built around and replenished one by one over time as they age or retire, but that can’t be said of Manure these days.

It’s for that reason I still have  reservations about our current rebuild - not because of the players we’ve brought in but because of the time it will take for them to develop the level of understanding of each other that will make a difference.
