St Mirren have gone 14 league games without a win since 20th December and have Dan up front and Etete on the bench.

I've said similar about other ultras groups I've seen myself around Europe. They're great to watch and listen to, but theres nothing else hapoening anywhere else in the ground, everyone is just gawping at them.

I often wonder what the Palace fans feel for example who sit in other parts of Selhurst and want to sing and chant some traditional English style football songs, but can't because there's a capo down the other end directing stuff

There’s a weird obsession with being down the front, too. I have been in Famous Five Lower a couple of times this season so the same section as the Ultras and you can’t hear a word they’re singing, you just get the thump of the drums. Anyone starts a song elsewhere and again gets drowned out by the drums.

Glad that Bolton fans have stayed fairly resistant to this sort of stuff so far and works even better when it’s unreserved seating. Singers/standers up the back, if you want to sit down and watch the game then go to the front. Done.

Said it earlier in the season with the ACD song and other intricate lyric bound tuney efforts. It actually diluted the atmosphere as the rest of the ground just wanted a simple rouser whilst crazy corner had every cunt learning lyrics.

You have to be careful singing that nowadays 

After a while some of the few lyric repetitive chants get tedious.

I quite like the idea of a couple of songs with more of a tune and humorous/meaningful lyrics.

Some clubs have an "anthem" which seems to bring them together and creates a great atmosphere- especially at the start of a game.

My favourite is "We are the one and only Wanderers" when the crowd spontaneously splits in 2 and bounces it back and forth. Haven't heard it for a while, but when it properly gets going you think it's going to last forever. Think it was the Play-Off Final against Preston when it went on for the entire first half where I was sat. Throat was fucked, ears were ringing, and head was banging, but it was fucking brilliant.
