They'll need to improve their away form in that case.

They have the incentive for sure. Ours has only been better recently TBF.

They’ll be looking at our 13 draws and getting hope from that.

Don’t spoil a good argument with facts 😀

Whatever, Bradford have any easier path than us to the automatics and alongside the other factors would probably fancy it more than us - at least that’s the motivation in their dressing room.

I think Bradford are irrelevant in the "can we make it uncomfortable for Cardiff" discussion.

Because if we are going to do that, we have to win virtually all our games and certainly not lose any.  That includes Bradford away, if they or anyone else beat us we aren't getting 2nd anyway.  They have a much worse goal difference than us so need an extra point, if they manage that and beat us good luck to them but our target isn't affected by what they do, if we do our bit they can't catch us.

Anyone think Port Vale can prevent them going level on points with us tonight?

Perfect time to play them 3 days after their big cup game, they've got lucky there.

Away win going on my bet, same as Hull to win at Wrexham last night.

With the goal difference we basically need to get 10 more points over the next 10 games

And we have to beat them at theirs

Not beyond the realms but still don't think we'll make it

Will reassess in 6 games time before we play them

For us to make up enough points, the goal difference will pretty much take care of itself.

We may have to win one or two handsomely, but it will be there or thereabouts.

No.

Lord mayor's show tonight.

Unless they can muster enough effort and form and want to keep their places for the next round.

They have picked up a bit in recent weeks, but I suspect it will be a bridge too far.

City getting bummed in Madrid losing 3-0 at half time, Valverde with a hat trick. That third goal was class

They make me piss.....they've got one of the best strikers in the world and he may as well not be on the pitch most of the time for how often they involve him

Trouble is they’ve got Exeter Saturday who are in a bit of trouble themselves

Bristol Temple Meads going to be fun Saturday morning. 2900 Argyle off to Reading, Rovers off to the capital and Cardiff passing through to Exeters.

Bradford piling it on again and really building up a head of steam now but not hard to see who the catalyst is. Sarce at VP played 29, won 24, drawn four, lost one. We should have got rid of that idiot Evatt instead of our captain and we’d have been in the Championship by now. Seven promotions is no coincidence.

I was thinking very similar, not about Sarce in particular, but how well Bradford, Stockport and others have done coming out of the 4th Div. (Not including Wrexham for obvious reasons).

Coupled with bang average teams getting promoted around us, Pompey, Derby, Oxford, Charlton, Rotherham. Then we have Sunderland and Ipswich in the Prem in all the time we have been floundering in this division.

Evatt nearly fucked up getting out of the 4th division, and coupled with his stellar performances currently at Blackpool, I think his time with us needs to be reassessed.

I make no bones I never liked the bloke, but it was like a cult on here at times that we were progressing year on year!! But were we?, did we ever actually achieve what our squads were capable of? I don't think so, and other than Plymouth at Wembley won't look back with any affection to Evatt's time like I do to Rioch, Todd or BSA.

He is this generations Phil Neal, yet Neal got no end of shit, Evatt seemed immune from most until the end.

Like has been said I'm just glad it's still alive and we can hit the play offs bang in form.

Nobody will want to play us. We've got a bench built for 3 gruelling battles. Especially if ACD is back.

Imagine chucking that bench on against tired legs at Wembley.

Even 1 of them could've made the difference v Oxford rather than the plodders we had on the bench that day.

It's a simple fact that our League position improved year on year under Evatt, so not a "cultish" thing to point out really. But yeah, at the same time, his poor man management and stubbornness prevented him from taking us that tiny step further. His last 6 months can be disregarded entirely, because he lost his fucking mind altogether after Oxford. It was like watching a spicehead trying to tie his shoe lace with a knife and fork.

My warning to Blackpool fans when he got the job was he's great when the goings good. When it's not his head falls off.

He will swing at anyone and turn on his players.

They didn't fanny about at the back v us so why on earth did they revert to it last night at a massive away game.
