As an aside this will be the first time Arsenal have finished outside the top 4 since Bruce rioch was manager,

...apart from last year when they finished 5th

I'm not a fan of what I'm about to say because it's used unnecessarily at times. But Oldham is a proper northern club. Good to see them back in the league. Chuffed for 'em.

No room for facts on here sonny, move along.

Relegation battlers beating mid-table mediocracy

Sam specialises in keeping relegation threatened teams in the Premier League, clubs like Everton who were 2 points above the drop zone when they appointed him.

Arsenal are 17 points above the relegation zone and have no need for the services of such a manager

As an aside this will be the first time Arsenal have finished outside the top 4 since Bruce rioch was manager, which is a fine achievement for a club that is only the 5th or 6th biggest spenders

We are worse then under Unsworth!!!

Ha ha, made me laugh that. :D

Well, its true. Facts also agree.

I know, i was agreeing with you, just find it comical that Sam can end up even worse than the Rhino. :)

Clueless

Facts say sam is worse than unsworth and koeman. I know that will upset many of you......your hero is a terrible manager, and also a gravy drinking slug.

Ah....and he seems to be getting a kick out of manking us worse.????

Clueless

I'm not sure how you can come to this conclusion. He clearly can't be arsed anymore and I'd dare to say he is looking forward to the chop

not sure what the beef is

he was brought in to keep them up and looks like he probably will do

Any manager could have done what he has done, its no success. He may not even make the end of the season, its that bad.

He only got a contract till the end of the season didnt he?

Can't expect some overhaul and long term plan under those circumstances.

Football is no doubt a bit shite, but I'm not sure the owners are that bothered.

A firefighter until venger becomes available.

18 months, he will get a good pay off in summer.

He is not even doing what he is actually good at, we are defensively as bad as we have been under the last 2 managers, and offensively worse.

You seem to want to pretend that Sam hasnt moved Everton up the table and away from the relegation zone with a mediocre squad of players.Everton were garbage under Koeman, even the worst Arsenal side in 20 years put 5 past them at Goodison.

I saw the last 20 minutes of the defeat at Burnley on tele.arguably your best midfielder Sigurdsson missed a great opportunity to put Everton 2-1 up, he just didnt have the technical ability to get the ball in the net from a position top quality players would score from.If your best player isnt  good enough to get that in the net, mid table is as good as its likely to get.

Burnley's winner was against a team with averaged efenders that will never make it at the top end of the league.Keane isnt good enough and your goalkeeper is too short

More excuses for Sam.

Worse point per game than Unsworth & Koeman, less shots on target and more goals conceded.

Painting that up as good, says more about you.

Disagree, nobody at all would have been better.

Give him time you prat.

Had slow starts at Sunderland and Palace.

Allardyce is to big for everton anyway

To be fair I’d be pretty uninspired if I was an Everton fan.

He had previously said he was retiring from football, he clearly just fancied another pay day, he looks disinterested and even more arrogant than normal in all interviews that I’ve seen, he isn’t the kind of person to build ‘long term’ at this stage in his career, his football is terrible and he isn’t even getting the results to offset that. I appreciate that Everton fans could be seen to be above their station but with the money that they have thrown around and the fact that they are generally the best of the rest I don’t think it’s unfair to be aiming at closing the gap to the top 6 when actually they are just getting further away.

I’d expect that he’ll be gone in the summer, with yet another massive pay day.

His head is anyway.

You just cant see past the bolton link can you, so sad.

The man is finished at any kind of level.

Personally don't give a rats arse about big Sam just as I don't give a rats arse about Coyle Freedman Megson and Lennon.

I was unsure why he left Palace but pitching up at Everton as some sort of emergency fire fighter has left him looking typecast.

I'd agree with Pablo. I think he's finished at that level and it's not as if he looks particularly arsed
