famouswanderer Posted March 4, 2018 Posted March 4, 2018 Arsenal again. Fuck me, surely he has to go if they lose this! Quote
Moderators Zico Posted March 4, 2018 Moderators Posted March 4, 2018 He'll not quit and they won't sack him He'll probably somehow win the europa league and qualify for the CL Quote
Didledee Posted March 4, 2018 Posted March 4, 2018 Messi scoring freekick after freekick, amazing. Quote
gonzo Posted March 4, 2018 Posted March 4, 2018 Agree with the often touted idea Arsenal should appoint Brendan Rodgers. They won't though. They'll stay with wenger till he has a nervous breakdown Quote
birch-chorley Posted March 4, 2018 Posted March 4, 2018 It will take more than a nervous breakdown He could get them relegated and still have a job Quote
Eddie Posted March 4, 2018 Posted March 4, 2018 Agree with the often touted idea Arsenal should appoint Brendan Rodgers. They won't though. They'll stay with wenger till he has a nervous breakdown I’ve always found it a bit strange the stick that Rodgers gets. He generally did very well with Swansea, had Liverpool playing some brilliant stuff and took them as close to winning the league that they’ve been in the past 10-15 years and is now winning everything he can with Celtic (I know it can’t be that hard up there). I don’t think he’d be the marquee name that Arsenal would want but I think he’d do well given a few years. Quote

They'll stay with wenger till he has a nervous breakdown I've always thought they should go for Simeone, Rodgers would just give them more of the same as they get now, i.e. nice football with no steel Quote
Mounts Kipper Posted March 4, 2018 Posted March 4, 2018 I've always thought they should go for Simeone, Rodgers would just give them more of the same as they get now, i.e. nice football with no steel Simieone would be great appointment he’d fire off half the squad at least can’t see him settling for the shithouse standards currently set by Wenger. Never known a manager to be so ruthless with his squad like he is at atleti. I love the way his players play for him and the shirt. What he has done at that club is nothing short of incredible. Quote
Traf Posted March 4, 2018 Posted March 4, 2018 4th club in 27 months and Birmingham's 5th boss in that same time frame. I predict a long and happy marriage. Quote

Roger_Dubuis Posted March 5, 2018 Posted March 5, 2018 Only sam can save Arsenal.... Sam specialises in keeping relegation threatened teams in the Premier League, clubs like Everton who were 2 points above the drop zone when they appointed him. Arsenal are 17 points above the relegation zone and have no need for the services of such a manager As an aside this will be the first time Arsenal have finished outside the top 4 since Bruce rioch was manager, which is a fine achievement for a club that is only the 5th or 6th biggest spenders Quote
