Mounts Kipper Posted March 7, 2018 Posted March 7, 2018 Champions leagues a joke went city tonight on a corporate because my city mate couldn’t find 2 city fans to go the game was awful and although Basel won they were no better than championship level, if teams like that can get this far the champions league is bringing the name of the competition into disrepute. Roger_Dubuis Posted March 8, 2018 Posted March 8, 2018 You would beat us at the moment!!! Aye, Koeman assembled a mediocre squad of one paced midfielders and shite strikers at Everton. The only quality attacking players he had Sigurdsson and Rooney lack pace, he didnt replace the only decent striker Lukaku amd funniest of the lot was paying £30 million for a goalkeeper thats only 6ft1. Compared to the likes of Cech, de Gea, Courtois, Neuer etc, Everton have a little lad in their nets and they paid £30 million for him! They say Ken won the lottery when he got £6 million for Madine, well i reckon Sunderland won a double rollover when they got £30 million for a goalkeeper thats only 6ft1! Quote
Sweep Posted March 8, 2018 Posted March 8, 2018 I actually rate Jordan Pickford, and at least he's getting plenty of practice in time for the WC Quote

MickyD Posted March 8, 2018 Posted March 8, 2018 I imagine Pablo will be overjoyed if his club show a bit of loyalty to their saviour. Quote
Sweep Posted March 8, 2018 Posted March 8, 2018 See big Sam is in talks to extend his contract, can't see the fans liking that. That can't happen surely. I would have thought it more likely he would be sacked than offered an extension Quote

Tonge moor green jacket Posted March 8, 2018 Posted March 8, 2018 Moshiri is Iranian by birth and will no doubt be familiar with Persian food. Perhaps he took Sam for a Persian meal and bsa was the only bloke to tackle the goat's head. Loves him now. Quote

When Bolton reserves first won the Central League title in 1954-55, Chesterfield reserves finished bottom conceding 122 goals. Their goalkeeper, whose 17th birthday was in mid-season, was Gordon Banks. Quote
