I read that this morning. As per mickys post they evidently weren’t watching it at that time as that was as clear as day and Marshall would never make a criminal as he gave himself up immediately.

I’m sorry but how did the ref know he was going to save it? And secondly the natural reaction is to celebrate.

surely he meant "if you save the winning penalty" and would've advised both keepers of this before the shoot out

But every one should be checked if they are saved or missed not just the winning one? And I cannot imagine for the life of me if I was in that situation I would after saving it think oh hang on can’t celebrate here.
