SPFL Player of the Year and Writers’ Player of the Year this season. Lost a couple of years through injury which has sort of meant he’s a bit fresher than you’d expect. That save for Sunderland against us was unreal btw.

Scotland have some absolute knackers that Gooch was awful, Hanley is a donkey and I thought good as he is Robertson was poor tonight. Nothing international up front Scotland Adams is Championship at best.

Ukraine could have won that by 5 or 6 if put there chances away. That were harder than ones scored. Does that Ukie goalie have Scots heritage he nearly gifted them a way back in

Felt sorry for Scotland having to play a game like that. Any sympathy will be wiped away in December when they madly support any team we play and act like they've won the world cup when we lose a game. Even worse when you live up here.

Love the Jock's me. Whole family including myself now lives up here, as do a lot of my mates. It's hard not to feel some sympathy. As I said it will all be wiped away come the World Cup when they start getting hard for any opposition we play. 

They were poor on the day. But Ukraine were something else - proper fired up. They would have pushed England all the way too. Everyone of those Scotland players would have felt the same horror we all did watching things unfold over there in the past months. Takes some serious emotional resilience to put it all to one side. Heard a psychologist say on the radio he didn't actually think it would be possible.
