I'm not a fan of what I'm about to say because it's used unnecessarily at times. But Oldham is a proper northern club. Good to see them back in the league. Chuffed for 'em.

Watching FGR v Wednesday and FGR have taken the lead - having previously squandered an even better chance (Savage's lad)

Can't imagine they'll win but it's noticeable that Big Dunc has got them really well organised - so much better than earlier in the season. Very impressive management with limited resources.

Agreed ... but we need a slap for slipping away.

Derby spent sooo much ... it was like getting a loan to clear your credit cards and saying "great, my cards are free, let's start spending".

If they don't go up I see them going for Admin a 4th time (or it it 5 ?).

Cannot see that Clowes is a Derby fan and his business cleared 41 million profit in 2022.

Very tight now between the top 4 teams; Sheff Wed lose at Cheltenham this coming Wednesday and I can see them actually losing out

😂 That is one helluva boost for us.

Ipswich and Barnsley will get the automatic places (not trying to wipe you up)

I’d now put Barnsley favourites but that’s a lot of games to go and Ipswich and Peterborough last two home will be interesting.

Still going with the non-plymouth theme I see.

They'll be cocker-hoop with Wednesday's result, and games amongst those below to come.

Entirely within their hands, and a magnificent home form all season.

Big game for Barnsley on Tuesday away to exeter

Bellingham doesn’t half talk well for a 19 year old.

He does. If all goes well he's going to be the very best we've had. You don't fear for him like you did for Gascoigne or Rooney do you.

Conor Bradley all over Finland and Dion has blasted one over the bar

Still a bit disappointed today.

Some lively touches and yet not much end product.

Playing in too low a gear maybe, as the team were second half, but perhaps that's excusable as the season draws to a close.

Ipswich & SW for me but I agree with what you said earlier.

Cheltenham away this Wednesday is a massive game now.

Hadn’t lost since October and then 2 defeats in 5 days!!!!!

Football is so unpredictable and that’s why we all love it I guess.

Thought he explained it well in his interview.

Like Gerrard as a pundit too, maybe that's his future,

and as for Southgate, easily the best man to bring us a major trophy IMO.

He'll always revert to conservative, dull, boring stuff when the chips are down. Too loyal to faded talent.

In the end he'll never quite make it, despite the talent available to him.

way off the mark, opinions though.

He's brought a unity that I've never seen before.

The current team appear to have a genuine affection and respect for each other whatever clubs they represent. We've not had this before, mainly in the 'golden generation' years as admitted by players themselves. In previous years we simply haven't been good enough, Carlton fucking Palmer, say no more. 1974/78 was the time I started watching England, how did we do in those tournaments, oh hang on?

Special day for the Gudjohnsen family today. When Eidur made his international debut he came on as a sub for his dad Arnor but they never actually played for the national team together. Today Eidur's son scored as Iceland stuffed Liechtenstein - with a visibly moved Eidur watching on.

Three generations all scoring for the national team is some family story.

This. His tendency to revert cost us the first international trophy since 1966.

Impossible to argue anything other than overall the results have been better with him in charge. He is not the one to win us things though unless folk are happy with fair play awards and other virtue signalling meaningless accolades.

Get rid and drain the FA swamp whilst you are at it.

Italia 90 team will always be special both for the heartbreak of almost and being the last team to represent the 92 before Premier league, but yea this is first time can remember expecting an England team to win most games. Hopefully Reese James , Stones and Chillwell can stay fit and we find another top quality CB
