Much easier when you're not quite so personally invested isn't it! 

Players were knackered all over, but it led to a really open game in extra time.

This yellow card shite for taking the shirt off though, just let the players enjoy the moment.

His players were also feeling it.

They've played many games, and bad plenty of injuries. Can't blame him for making them.

Utd finished with just 2 defenders and a crocked midfielder at centre back, and Liverpool ought to have had enough to manage that.

But they struggled to beat a championship team who had 10 men.  I know that happens, its not a criminal offence to struggle to beat a lower team, but surely getting towards 90 minutes at 2-2 is more evidence of Chelsea under performing more than an eventual win is evidence of good management?  

The booing I heard seemed to be all about Sterling - the terrible penalty (a mystery why he took it), the laughably bad free kick when everyone was expecting Palmer to take it - which prompted him getting a load of stick.  Then Modric got subbed instead of Sterling and that meant more booing.  FWIW I felt a bit sorry for Sterling, he seems like a decent sort, and I'd never boo one of our players but fans can have valid opinions about things like who takes a pen, who gets subbed etc especially when an expensive team has consistently under performed.

FWIW he did apologise unreservedly on the radio after the game, said he was out of order the way he reacted.  Very out of character but seemed like something a lot of managers would have done in the heat of the moment.

I think every manager, player and supporter would react in a similar fashion, that is football and what it means
