I'm not a fan of what I'm about to say because it's used unnecessarily at times. But Oldham is a proper northern club. Good to see them back in the league. Chuffed for 'em.

I don't think our budget does blow them away or else we would be spending

Our wages and budget are way above Huddersfield and Bournemouth our squads already got better players than both these teams if DF trying to lower expectation fine but if he's trying to say these 2 spending more and therefore don't expect us to compete with them he's in fucking la la land.

Something not right with those figures either everyone is jibbing in on kids tickets or someone is lying.

I'd guess Bournemouth have spent more than us on transfer fees since they got promoted to the Championship. They also have a windfall from Lallana that they might be able to spend. I don't dispute that our wage bill will be higher and significantly so last season.

Haven't Bournemouth had a new investor in recent years?

aye, he reckoned he was good enough to be playing in our league last year

i do hope pne got him on a pay as you play

Seem to remember him saying he could still do a job in the Prem.

Seen him a few times for Preston last year as the missus & family are PNE twats. He was dreadful, the whole game slowed to walking pace when he got near the ball.

He would have taken some real abuse had he still been with us.

makes me wish he'd have stayed now

with hindsight, that's one time i wouldn't moan at our fans for abusing our players.

unreserved seating as well

Was reported as a sell out though that attendance suggests not. Unless they gave a fair few to away fans who didn't fill it
