How did Zach do?

Hopefully had a blinder, I really want the lad to do well. But most importantly for a possible windfall for our club for a future sell-on clause that may keep us operating for a few months.

Had a cracking debut according to Forest fans on twitter.

I thought he was pretty average - very similar to how he's been playing for the last month.

 

He started behind the striker and had some nice touches/link up play without ever really creating much but was then shifted out onto left wing when Forest decided to attack almost completely down the right which meant he didn't really see much of the ball.

 

2nd half he switched between the 2 wings but often found himself coming more central to find the ball. There was a mixture of neat touches and stray passes/getting pushed off the ball.

 

He must have a bit of stature within the club because he was adamant he was having a free kick 20 yards out in the 1st half and he did end up taking it and putting it inches wide.

 

I'm sure he'll get better as he gets used to how they play but I'm surprised at the reaction he has got from Forest fans.

 

On a side note they brought on a 17 year old local lad up top for the last 20 minutes. He was a handful, good on the ball, made some very good runs and ended up scoring the winner in injury time. - it will be interesting to see if his involvement has any effect on Cloughs chances.

 

Also Lookman, who seems to be the comparison to Clough's price tag, is already starting in the Prem for the 7th placed team as part of a front line scoring 6 goals.

Dunno what's going on at Leicester but looking at them today and most of this season, you'd not think they were champions 6 months ago,

 

Was watching a bit of the AFCON final, a nice goal to win it for Cameroon and also some of Juve vs Inter, Cuadrado rocket from outside the box.

Watched Huddersfield today, Aaron Mooy looks better every time I see him. Ran the show.
