November 13, 201411 yr http://www.examiner.co.uk/sport/football/news/huddersfield-town-supporters-association-call-8098649 Took 2700 to Fulham that's a great effort and larger following expected to the Macron should be a great atmosphere.
November 13, 201411 yr Seems that cheap coaches are increasing the numbers. Bolton shouldn't be making a profit out of getting fans to the ground IMO.
November 13, 201411 yr we have just been unlucky the way our away fixtures have fell, our average will jump up after Xmas think its 800ish away at mo
November 13, 201411 yr Coaches not overly cheap to Bolton so assuming it was say £20 to Fulham, 2700 is a great following. We probably wouldn't take that with free travel and £10 entry tickets at the moment!
November 13, 201411 yr Bolton shouldn't be making a profit out of getting fans to the ground IMO. how should we be making a profit? nowt else we do seems to
November 13, 201411 yr how should we be making a profit? nowt else we do seems to So why fleece the fans further? If I was running a coach for a load of Bolton fans I wouldn't run it at a profit, it's a means of getting to the match.
November 13, 201411 yr we have just been unlucky the way our away fixtures have fell, our average will jump up after Xmas think its 800ish away at mo Aye. Our away attendances have been badly affected with night matches at Fulham, Charlton & Norwich. (plus the tricky trip to Brighton) Last season we averaged 1293 per away game, & finished 10th highest in the championship ( Wolves & Coventry also averaged more ) This season we are currently averaging 792 per away game & are 20th highest in the championship. The Blackpool game will raise our average numbers but Reading & a night game at Millwall will drop it again.
November 13, 201411 yr The fixture lists don't help. This season was looking to do Ipswich and Norwich as a mate lives down there. Ipswich is midweek and Norwich was Friday night. Had to sack both off. Who's fecking stupid idea was that?
November 13, 201411 yr So why fleece the fans further? If I was running a coach for a load of Bolton fans I wouldn't run it at a profit, it's a means of getting to the match. To be fair though you wouldn't run it at a loss though either. Which is what they have to cater for. some coaches don't sell fully.
November 13, 201411 yr With Blackburn, Wigan, Sheff Wed, Rotherham and Doncaster all in second half of season I can see our away average really taking off - especially if things carry on as positively as they've started. Huddersfield have always brought decent numbers...it's got real tradition as a club - they did win the title 3 years in a row...tho you are going back a bit for that.
November 13, 201411 yr We should take another good following to Huddersfield in late December, always a good day out

Huddersfield ..& we always used to take a lot to Derby.....unfortunately Rotherham will probably turn into a night match as well.
November 13, 201411 yr Last season we averaged 1293 per away game, & finished 10th highest in the championship ( Wolves & Coventry also averaged more ) That's because most Coventry supporters went to the away games rather than the home games last season.
November 13, 201411 yr That's because most Coventry supporters went to the away games rather than the home games last season. And they both took about 9,000 to MK Dons which helps with the average.
November 13, 201411 yr We should take another good following to Huddersfield in late December, always a good day out me & the groomers have already pencilled this in with an ale trail trip Included
November 13, 201411 yr me & the groomers have already pencilled this in with an ale trail trip Included Chorley are away at Stalybridge on the same day. With that and it being in between Christmas and New Year I reckon it will be far too busy to get served on the ale trail. Hope I'm wrong though
November 13, 201411 yr The Blackburn and Wigan aways clash with England 6 Nations games which is a dilema for those of us partial to a bit of both types of football.
November 13, 201411 yr we've done well in recent years with avoiding clashes maybe sunday or evening kick offs?
November 13, 201411 yr So some superb following in the lower league's. Maybe when you all get what you want.....you can get old skool followings like that....
November 13, 201411 yr we've done well in recent years with avoiding clashes maybe sunday or evening kick offs? no match on the 7th (blackburn) england kick off at 5 for wigan away
