C86 Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 It's not been difficult getting organised and getting tickets really. I've got the Mrs attending her first game since Wembley. Big E is in our party despite not having a season ticket and he's bringing his eastern European bride along who speaks less English than Julio Geordio and couldn't find Bolton on a map. I've not been since 2010 and I've sorted two out for me and the lad, its who you know.
Traf Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 When do they go on open sale? Tomorrow, how many do you want?
Carlos Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 Big E has distributed more tickets than Ticketmaster.
SalfordOriginal Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 Tomorrow, how many do you want? I need 5. one for me, plus 2 united fans, 1 city and a bury fan who will be attending his first ever football match
Leyther_Matt Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 The club should have their own website that can sell tickets, without having to use ticket master. I wonder how much we pay them for this Ticketmaster provide the system that will be used within Bolton Central and the online integrated system. For what it's worth, the textual content on the E-Ticketing site along with the actual set up of each fixture (including who's eligible and how many tickets they're allowed etc) is very likely to be handled by the ticket office themselves.
Zico Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 (edited) How many tickets have we sold? 9.5k by the sounds of it Edited January 14, 2015 by ZicoKelly
Mounts Kipper Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 Every one who supplied a client reference will get a ticket those who didn't supply the right number of reference numbers are not going to get more than the client reference supplied this means more tickets will be available on a first come first served basis to those who have a client reference but as yet have not got a ticket. I think that's the situation so I can't see a problem as long as those who got more tickets than they had client references get their money back.
stevieb Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 This is getting beyond a joke now. Do you not know any season ticket holders who weren't going who you could have borrowed their client reference from? I blame it on the drink.
Spider Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 I've just found one in a bar of Wonka chocolate.
burnden Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 NL will be dishing comp tickets out to BWSA members at the Q+A tomorrow night surely?
SoberDan Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 Stevie I asked 4 ST holders, they were all going and I stupidly presumed the 1 per a season ticket rule applied. Personally I think they should just cancel an tickets purchased online and do a ballot or even an open sale, but that will never happen.
bwfcuk Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 Not a Season Ticket holder, asked a few I knew but they are going to the game and made the mistake of presuming that the 1 ticket to a client reference applies. I'm not going to go any further into who does and doesn't deserve a ticket, but given I buy all my tickets online they can see I have been to every away game this season, it is trackable but season ticket holders will always come first. On a different note it blatantly isn't the clubs fault I live where I do, but I have tried and failed for 6 months to get a finance job in the North West, applied for 300 in the first half of last year , living here is not a choice unless I don't want to work in finance. End of the day I don't live on the North West so I'm not going to be able to get a job up there and I'm not going to be able to get any use out of a season ticket. So to sum up Horwich, the reason I didn't get a ticket for Liverpool away is because I'm not a season ticket holder.
bwfcuk Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 Dan if you go to all the away games then l would suggest you look into an Away season ticket. It was £20 this season and guarantees away tickets for all matches and tickets are sent out automatically you can refuse up to 5 games but any more than that you season ticket cancels. I found this out the other day when asked a question hence the knowledge it was in the season ticket brochure.

PS How you doing?
stevieb Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 Aye cancel all online purchases, it's the only way! Jesus Maybe those that used too few crns but all is over reacting. Think on all you who missed out when your season ticket pack lands in April. Don't risk it, get one bought!
bwfcuk Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 I didn't even know we had that facility, I bet many others didn't either. Cheers. PS How you doing? Fine mate, you OK ?
little whitt Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 thank fuck for MR58 that old man wont need to go the bar on the on the 24th we all owe him a pint who he got tickets for
birch-chorley Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 Away season tickets is a new one on me Whoever has one of them wins best fan award surely
SoberDan Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 I didn't know that existed tbh BWFCUK, I presume then that you set up A DD and it takes payment for all the away tickets?
itdiddidit? Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 on reflection I'm glad I'm missing out on this game. I only got interested after we'd sold a few and it looked like it was going to sell out. I also had nothing really to moan about at the footie as it was all beginning to go fairly well under NL. If I was that arsed I'd have been up the ticket office earlier than yesterday. I've months if not years recounting how I missed out on this game and the ticket office are cunts. nobody still mentions going to Cardiff v Boro they talk about the not going. I'm working in Liverpool off Penny Lane tomorrow there must be some victim support group I can contact, I feel like a victim here and its not my fault.
only1stig Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 On a different note it blatantly isn't the clubs fault I live where I do, but I have tried and failed for 6 months to get a finance job in the North West, applied for 300 in the first half of last year , living here is not a choice unless I don't want to work in finance. End of the day I don't live on the North West so I'm not going. Apparently there is a new finance position at TicketBastards in the North West to look after a huge new project dealing with credits and returning funds. Market rate salary plus first dibs on tickets for any sporting event (no crn required). Joking aside - what a shambles and sorry to hear some deserving souls are currently without. Keep your ear to the ground and something will turn up.
