Whites man Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 The ref was poor overall but liked how we kicked off with half their team celebrating the equaliser. Quote
BOWTUN BAKED Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Real kick in the bollocks that late equaliser, still got that nauseous feeling in the pit of my stomach. Really pleased with Feeney at the moment, he's turning out to be the player I hoped he would, been really impressed with him over the last few games. That Clough's not bad either, between his substitution & Pratley's injury, the game changed. First time I've felt we've dropped points since Lennon's arrival, shame, but we move on. 88points it is then Quote

jules_darby Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Watched that over and again Cas; Ream at fault for the first goal?? I just can't see how? It's Dervite and then Lonergan surely What does the camera miss? Quote

It's Dervite and then Lonergan surely What does the camera miss? Lonergan at fault for me - Dicko ended up shooting about 10 yards from goal. No way a ball from their own half should get that near our goal without another touch Quote
Gumbo Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Clough superb again. DD is a bit of an unsung hero but should be better for wolves 1st goal. Trotter is lazy. And rob hall... He's a cockend, I'm not surprised in the slightest he dicked about in the corner. Get rid! Quote
mickbrown Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 That's piss poor from Lonergan for their first. Quote
onlyoneawalker Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 We ain't gettin in the play offs but we're building that'll do for me Quote
snowball Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 I like Trotter but just can't see this 'impressive' Feeney, think he should be the first for the chop in order to continue upwards. All about opinions I suppose but at Liverpool, Rotherham & yesterday thought he was poor. Quote
gonzo Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 (edited) I thought moxey was pretty decent in midfield tbh Edited February 1, 2015 by gonzo Quote
tomski Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Thought trotter, Feeney and moxey were all excellent. Quote
frank_spencer Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Feeney is a grafter with pace who'll stick crosses in all game. He's not particularly skillfully but he's a valuable player in the championship Quote
Mounts Kipper Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 I thought moxey was pretty decent in midfield tbh I'm liking Lennons eye for where to play a player, prime example Vela at right back doubt many would have picked him there same with Moxey yesterday SA had that knack, Pedersen at full back Charlton at Centre half its a good talent to have as a manager. Quote
tomski Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 See I think he chips in well with goals and attacks, granted not a great delivery all the time. Quote
Traf Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 (edited) I thought the team played well as a whole, there was some serious graft in that unit yesterday. Wheater was excellent, Trotter's a better player than most give him credit for. Just because he's a similar size and colour to Yaya Toure doesn't mean we should expect too much of him. He's a steady influence in that midfield and I had him down as a better performer than Danns yesterday. The Pratley haters might also have had an awakening yesterday too, as we're a much poorer team without him. As for their goals? 1. Lonners fault. iffy at Rotherham and not at his best yesterday. 2. Worldie. 9/10 go in the stand, that one went in. Shit happens. Yes, Hall lost the ball, but we didn't close the man down and he's lashed it in. And the 5 mins extra? Loads of subs and our massive time-wasting at throw ins. Engineered our own downfall yesterday.Played 97 minutes in all and if you take the first 2mins and last 2mins away, it was a good day. PS Moxey was a willing participant too, liked his efforts, but I'd have him at LB before Ream, even if he does look a bit like a younger Gumbo. Edited February 1, 2015 by Traf Quote
HomerJay Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Feeney is poor imo Love his work ethic but he is so one dimensional. Most of his cross are piss poor and I can see our micro attack scoring many from them. Quote
MickyD Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 (edited) Biggest time waster was when the ref allowed Prattley to go off injured across the pitch. I think that came back to bite our proverbial arse. Edited February 1, 2015 by MickyD Quote

Everytime ball is played to his feet he lets it bounce off his studs then runs on to it, players pick up on that Quote

birch-chorley Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 (edited) What the fuck is going on with Tim reams throw ins by the way? You can go downstairs, sup a pint and still be back before its left his hands Edited February 1, 2015 by birch-chorley Quote
Ani Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 What the fuck is going on with Tim reams throw ins by the way? You can go downstairs, sup a pint and still be back before its left his hands Regular source of discussion round us. We decided he thinks he is quarter back in the NFL, he can take as long as he wants because he is in the pocket and no one tackles him. No other reason we could come up with. Quote
Traf Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 What the fuck is going on with Tim reams throw ins by the way? You can go downstairs, sup a pint and still be back before its left his hands And that's why there was 5 mins extra yesterday, just giving Wolves time to sore. Quote
Casino Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Its not just ream And its not something new We never have anybody in space to receive the ball Quote
MickyD Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 ^ very much this. I've seen layers walking up the pitch not even facing the ball. Quote
frank_spencer Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 Indeed if no fucker is showing for the throw he can't take it. Quote
