If they want first dibs on tickets, you'd expect a few more of them to make an effort then.

Maybe they aren't panicking because they know it won't sell out because the non ST holders won't bother coming like they never do unless it's a 'big game' in Europe or a semi final or a big day out or whatever? What are you trying to say exactly?

I've just persuaded 3 mates who never come to get down on Wednesday. I've even got them looking forward to it.

As an aside 2 of them are fit birds & the other is a 6 foot odd daft lump

Of all the ST holders sitting round me in ESL i think only me and 2 others are bothering , rest were watching it on telly cos "we will get beat anyway"

It just pisses me off that people on here moaning about ticketing arrangements for Liverpool away were on here today scrounging tickets for today's game. Who do they think the ticket is coming from, oh right, a season ticket holder who can't make it for whatever reason...!

I've supported Bolton all my life but having spent £80 on tickets today I really can't afford another £62 for Wednesday even though I would love to be there. Following football these days is just to expensive.

Sadly this is the problem for many, and I'd never have a pop at anybody who'd go every game but can't afford it, but if you can stump up the dosh get yourself down there, even if we are likely to get a dicking, the lads do deserve to be given a leg up with the task by a decent crowd and some noise

Great post the lads deserve an old style vociferous crowd show the players what our fans are capable off forget the TV get down to the Macron if at all possible and lets raise the roof old style.

Sadly I can't justify paying £142 to watch 2 games of football.

That might or might not be aimed at people like me, as I was critical of the ticketing arrangements for Anfield and also asked if there were any spares for today.

 

If it was aimed at me, how does me using a spare ST today piss you off?

I didn't ask for a freebie, I was offered one by an ST holder who couldn't use it and asked how much he wanted for it and paid him what he asked for.

That way he recoups some lost money.

I wasn't getting at anyone who can't afford to go it's stupid money at times and an expensive hobby, I've no axe to grind with folk who can't afford it none at all. Enjoy it on the box.
