Ani Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 As a season ticket holder I support any such offers. Bring a mate for fiver say. Kids for a quid, anything. As Bigtoe mentioned, let's get people back on board this season and grow from there. Going the game is 100% better than at start of year so as a season ticket holder I am happy with value I have had! will enjoy games more with a few thousand more on. Maybe a few get the bug back and that gives us money and impetus to grow from.
L/H White Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 (edited) from next season how about 'refer a season ticket holder'? So A refers B, they get an extra bum on seat with B and A gets £50 or so knocked off his season ticket. More fans and the club will make money while boosting the attendance Not sure if it'd work but it's and idea like Edited February 11, 2015 by Ryan
davidjack Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 Great minds Ryan, I suggested the same a while back. Win win - and it wouldn't piss off those STHs who feel they get nowt from deals. Tho personally I'm going to get a season ticket anyway and am happy for any cheap offers for those who otherwise wouldn't come. Done right we could boost our average crowd by 5k for next season I reckon.
Cinnykid Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 Making it enjoyable puts bums on seats, good football and a good atmosphere. Maybe have one end (NL ?) for one game dirt cheap tickets and get it full, also making it be known plenty vocal support in this end. Change that crap goal music too, it just drowns out what little noise is made. The fans cheer n then stop to a clap when it plays. Get something better on maybe one the fans can sing along to, give the kids a bit of fun, goading the away fans after we score.
Moderators Horwich Posted February 11, 2015 Author Moderators Posted February 11, 2015 We had 25000 on a tuesday night for a 0-0 draw vs grimsby.... Half of fhat last night

Make the NL stand 'Neil Lennon' stand for a game at £10 adults £ 5 for kids. Another thing I would do, would be to let season ticket holders for the rest of the season to transfer their ticket to a different bit of the ground. I have sat in same area since we moved grounds but would not mind watching a game from somewhere else, would not want to move permanently but might give it a go. Also offer season ticket holders a real dirt cheap upgrade to hospitality deals reward them that way None of which costs anything much but just ideas to keep people wanting to turn up.
Moderators Horwich Posted February 11, 2015 Author Moderators Posted February 11, 2015 How empty is the LOV on a matchday? If theres normally 250 emply places, offer them to season ticket holders for £25 a game. Gives ST a chance of getting something back. We dont have much to play for now this season and the club needs to do something to get the fans into the ground
Ani Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 How empty is the LOV on a matchday? If theres normally 250 emply places, offer them to season ticket holders for £10 a game. Gives ST a chance of getting something back. We dont have much to play for now this season and the club needs to do something to get the fans into the ground 250 places @ £25 is £6250 250 places @£10 is £2500 It is under £4k difference, I would honestly if it was my business does this as a gesture of thanks to season ticket holders on a first come first served basis for say 4 games only 1 game per person. You know if a few do it and then upgrade next year it starts to cover its costs but even without that would do it as a thank you. Would cost less than free coaches to the cup game.
Moderators Horwich Posted February 11, 2015 Author Moderators Posted February 11, 2015 Another one is to add that anyone who buys a ST for 2015/16 gets a free one the season after if we get promoted. A drop in the ocean if we get the prem tv money

Did nt someone do this in the past ?...maybe Burnley ??? http://www.fourfourtwo.com/news/burnley-poised-offer-free-season-tickets Edited February 11, 2015 by Ani
davidjack Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 We should send these off the top of our head ideas to the Marketing department...and tell em to crack on with some of them. Because an email to existing season ticket holders once in a while letting em know there's a game coming up or there's a sale on in the club shop isn't really working as a marketing strategy is it?
Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted February 11, 2015 Site Supporter Posted February 11, 2015 Surely the marketing bods are monitoring this site for ideas?

Ani Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 How do you know? He has 12790 reasons to suspect.
Bigtoe Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 Got to be honest that crowd suprised me. How many ST holders are there? Wondered how many extra one offs came.
Moderators Horwich Posted February 11, 2015 Author Moderators Posted February 11, 2015 It would be interesting to see if the club are gonna be proactive and come up with something for the remaining games. The free season ticket is a win-win situation for both fans and the club.

It's not a win win for the club they lose about 6 million. And what happens the season after when fans got out of the habit of paying for a season ticket? Edited February 11, 2015 by Mounts Kipper
Mounts Kipper Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 (edited) In the past I've been all for deals for floaters and lapsed fans I'm now coming to the conclusion fuck um, offer deals to get kids on board do whatever it takes to get them watching, that's the market we need to do everything possible to engage with. The old skool fans are dead let's move on. Edited February 11, 2015 by Mounts Kipper
Moderators Horwich Posted February 11, 2015 Author Moderators Posted February 11, 2015 Id say about £3 million... But we aint going up anyway... Anytime soon. So it doesnt really matter
Mounts Kipper Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 Id say about £3 million... But we aint going up anyway... Anytime soon. So it doesnt really matter If we go up good chance 13-15000 season ticket holders can't be far off 6 million. Completely disagree with your negative views on this team and our chance of promotion with NL we've got every chance.
Moderators Horwich Posted February 11, 2015 Author Moderators Posted February 11, 2015 £400 per season ticket?? Current ST income around £2.9m
